In other words you know you talk s***e, but you don't care a toss whether anybody agrees with you. Thanks for clearing that up.

Probably.

American then. -
...and he scored a 21 point max a couple of years ago at Brough. Can be a very useful scorer especially when others can't.

Quite agree Squall. No body gave Paul Starke a chance last year, in the NL he was about a 7 pointer. Newcastle stuck by him, and he just got better with regular riding at a higher level. So much so the a lot of Diamond fans were hoping for a return of Paul this next year, but that was highly unlikely with Steve Worrall already returning. Richie had only ridden 7 times in the NL, and was not in anybodies 1 to 7 when he came to us.

Good side and I can see then challenging, with even scoring throughout the team. Let's hope now for a sponsor.

Many thanks for your corrections Barney Rebel and Najjer. The rider I confused him with was Lee Smart who rode with Redcar last year.
-
Exciting rider, but sadly on last years performance, he is pasted it now with poor machinery and obviously carrying health probs(mind and body). Real shame as he was a real exciting rider in his prime and before his biggy.
-
Very true. Some weeks it was 10 then the next week it was 13. No consistency.
-
That's what you get when you have been riding. Take Care.

Used or new ones.
-
Not true in my case then.

Might turn out to be a fortunate decision. Given his price and flight costs, it could be an opportunity for another affordable alternative.
-
Aye, someone saw him in the shower last season and confirmed he had three legs.
-
Would love to have seen your face and reaction, if he had put Smoggie against Stuart's name.

As TWK said a few pages back, put your trust in George and the promotion and they would give us a decent team and, hey presto, they have. Sorry about Mark and Ned not coming back this next season. If I was a speedway rider I would probably be Mark and I wish him well where ever he rides this year. Ned was never on my want list last winter, and I said that his late form, and the circumstances, made it easy for the promotion to drop him for 2012. But his superb form in the second half of the season, first at reserve then back in the team, took everyone by surprise, and I, along with most, thought that he would be first one picked for 2013. It is not to be, but I hope this is not the last we see of Ned in the future but that he is getting more practice in on another track and returns a more complete rider. Nice to see the bulk of the riders being retained from last years successful team. I think it is what everyone hoped for, which then brings me to Tully. A very good rider on the night but prone to dips at certain tracks. I hope with this track change he knuckles down, takes his riding career seriously and I think if he does, we will see the very best of him. He is a decent talent and with consistency he could be the surprise package of the season. That leaves 4.14 for the seventh man. I know who I want to see at 7 but I think it is best to wait and give the promotion the chance to select the best man for the job all things being OK. I do think we will miss Mark captaining the team, he was good at it, and very helpful to all the riders with his knowledge and advice. I think possibly Stuart and Christian should share the task of looking after their teammates and keeping the group together as a team. We did well last year, and I don't see one reason why we can't emulate that or even improve on it.
-
No reduction. The rider has to have missed the whole official season to qualify for a reduction.
-
In Lemo's case it might have been his form this year, possibly together with costs.
-
We bought Lemo but the deal for Robbo seemed to just fizzle out and didn't go ahead.
-
Jonas B Andersen I think. Probably costs of flights, and the risk because he plainly isn't a 7 point rider. Let's go with others that are known quantities.
-
It's lovely thought but highly unlikely from our landlords. Remember, historically, Berwick only pay about 30% of our Brough Stadium rental charge and William Hill also keep all the bar and catering income.
-
Oh Dam. That means I have to honour the promise to Halifaxtiger, to go to Plymouth for the first time ever on our mini Southern tour together. Delighted for the new consortium and all the fans, especially the ones who have stopped going who now can return to their local track. See ya all there.

Probably Hawkins.
