Newcastle Diamonds V Ipswich Witches 25/5
Tsunami replied to tilersrus's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Must admit. when he first came to this country, I saw him in a second half at Redcar and he was very impressive. He went on to other tracks like Sheffield, but was only decent on a flat out track where technical ability was less important. -

Not in this country. Poor equipment. Can only ride big tracks and useless on small tracks. Needs accommodation. Needs transport. -

Live to fight another day, as they say. The rain seems to be helping our cause HD. -

I wish we were as 'bad' as Worky. -

Not a great choice actually. Never though I would be wishing for Schrammy so much to get better. And of course Lewis R. I think we will be decent again when they both return. -

I agree. What part of "programmed ride" do some not understand. -

You have to be at Edinburgh 2 hours before the start tomorrow, and don't forget your Kevlars. -

That's not 'experience' under the belt, just temporary padding. -

I heard he is saving up for when the 4 valve model comes out. -

You'll know on Sunday when he tells you to "get your leathers on". -
Quite agree. There is always room for fiddle factor to get your man. Cash limits on Swedes and nominated meetings for Danes with airfares, but still room to manoeuvre.

Are you sure.

Lakeside V Kings Lynn 19 May El A Sky Match
Tsunami replied to Vincent Vega's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yep, quite agree. Despite Gavan's usual denial that he does it, his obsession to have a go at at Poole at every opportunity is quite tedious and embarrassing. -
Danes pay for their airfares except for nominated meetings like Danish Championships, U21,U19,etc, under the DMU agreement.

I'll take it slowly for you then. Why was D/U brought in for in the first instance. What was the sentiment behind it. -
Very fair summary NYB.

Absolutely. A genuine mistake was made to improve the team., Many teams would/would have soldiered on with the old team, not knowing who to drop because of the varying inconsistency's. Whoever was dropped was going to be wrong in some peoples eyes, and in cases like this, you have to try and improve. It is fan driven as you have said. No need to be, has to be said. I personally don't agree with any interval, if the policy is grade after each set of 4 races. It disturbs the rhythm and pace of the meeting and allows opponents to regroup. Different when the home team needs to regroup, but last night we lost every heat after the interval, I hope it was noted and will be actioned on. Not a problem with that. Bad night for us, and that was with Aaron on an iffy night. There was extra caution last night, as Lewis did advise he had a plate from a previous accident(bit like Schrammy). It looked like it was a coxis, so went to hospital to get checked over. Quite agree, even you. Oh Dear. I think you are not reading my post to you, too much red mist. -

I think that is the whole point, as they plainly did not or misjudged the sentiment behind them. -

Some of the first part I do. but to make your comments about FANS who genuinely support their team, and you make those churlish comments, is out of order. It's not about having the balls FFS. -

They are called fans Kenny, and there is no need to go off on one just because they support their team. You do yourself no good with those comments. It's already been stated why Lambert can't join us, so secret society. One of the qualifications for dropping down to us was he had to have had a PL average from last year, and he didn't. OK. -

Yes, you do sound very confused. We 'factor in Lambert' because he changed his mind, and wanted have a go now at PL, but it was stopped by the MC. You could have read that as it was announced, so no it is not a 'Gordie' (Geordie is supposed to be how it is spelt BTW TMW) thing, just a genuine attempt to strengthen our team but it didn't come off unfortunately. -

Been at the track allay and just returned. Training school this lunchtime went well with stacks of rides once the bikes had remembered when to fire up. Had an interesting 2 new riders, who I think will make the grade. Nothing desperate about them. The great news is that all of the Grandstand terrace steps are completed and open to the regulars for the first time this year. Get there early if you want your usual spot though. -
What a sad individual you are.
