  1. Still needs them to drop though, given his interview on TV. Not called squeaky for nothing.
  2. Don't have to or need to. They will come to conclusions that have to go to the next pre AGM meeting, or get a vote on it at the AGM in November.
  3. But all decisions are not his but. He is a chairman who conducts meetings, that decide matters that he doesn't always necessarily have to agree with. That's called democracy.
  4. Apparently through the 4th bend fence and hit the wall. Chest injuries but speaking to others. Been air lifted to Newcastle hospital. Hope he is OK.
  5. Shadders had already mentioned "is the guy that designed that track" when talking about Redcar. He didn't design Leicester, as locals blame Hemsley for that, with a possibly involvement with Sudden Sam before his departure from Leicester. So Glyn did Somerset, Redcar and then took on maintenance at Leicester.
  6. Details of this meeting have now been published in this weeks Speedway Star. To celebrate the 85th anniversary of Speedway at Brough Park, we have a PL meeting against Peterborough, followed by a series of races with Danny King, Rene Bach, Robbo and Richie Worrall competing against each other. At the end of the races, the rider with the most points will be crowned King of Diamonds. In between the races there will be other races with veterans on vintage bikes. And it is all for only £8.50 admission for adults and concessions, while accompanied children(upto and including age 16 )go free. BTW there will be a FREE Face Painter available before the meeting, provided by the Supporters Club.
  7. That was a couple of weeks ago. Rob jnr has stated on FaceBook that Rob snr has just been released from hospital.
  8. Don't think he is actually. Posters are bemoan playing all these meetings approaching the winter, but it was the summer rain that caused the problem in the first case. If the meetings were reduced or programmed earlier, they would still have been rained off despite people calling it SUMMER.
  9. No. He's the track curator at Leicester but he is the one that designed and built Somerset.
  10. That was the point I was going to make to Ghostwalker. So he didn't "get away with it", and of course it was not a speedway related incident, which I think Ghostwalker would know was what I meant.
  11. When was the last time that Darcy failed an alcohol test.
  12. I think Robbo bought Havvy's offie when he first gave up riding.
  13. In speedway they are called "offies".
  14. Just remind me again what Cameron has to do with this thread, except for your ignorance and obsession.
  15. You will never know, but you have already made your mind up.
  16. The more 'European' this and that events, just means greater pressure on missing riders and guest situations in this country. Remember these jumped up events are proposed for a reason. Country's like the UK, and the BSPA, are supposed to just roll over and allow these events, using a country's assets and causing disruption, whilst taking all the profit from the event. In a case of owning your own company, I doubt whether many on here would fall in line with it either, unless there was a financial reason for being involved in it.
