  1. The proposal is not workable. If it was a mini series to find a winner, imagine the probs it would cause because, like the present PLRC, when noone else can race on that day being repeated times the number of rounds. We already have enough breaks and more would just wreck the fixtures. What happens when someone drops down after the series started, and what would happen if riders could not complete the series due to injury. Would there be enough prize money to make riders take it serious.
  2. Yes HT. He does what others on here don't. He gets up off his backside, and does things within the sport, only to be shot down by the "never do anything" brigade, sitting alongside the haven't a ******* clue brigade. People who 'do" make mistakes, whilst those who 'don't' never have.
  3. Bollocks again. You have no plan, whilst George appealed straight away that we would be needing the date. That's planning in anybody but your eyes, and was not an afterthought after the horse had bolted. It was 2 weeks before we anticipated we could well be needing our race day. Funny how both sides are welcoming George's agreement to stand down from the date, because of plans that had been made that would cost others. He was in the right is not disputed but we felt it was in the best interests of Edinburgh, fans especially. BTW cyclone is an Edinburgh fan. As Arson has said FFS "it's not rocket science surely". but it's beyond you.
  4. What a load of avoidable bollocks. Why object to the tie till we had an idea, after the first leg, that we might have a good chance of needing that day. You are thinking it would have been a good idea of ring fencing the date, stopping the Panthers and the Monarchs riding on that day, and then we could have got beat by Glasgow and wasted the date. And you call the BSPA for poor planning, you come a poor second to them.
  5. That's a bit Rich(Tea). Why make protestations earlier, when we didn't even know we stood a chance of getting through to the semi. Now you are talking way out of the loop. Do try try to keep up with everyone else.
  6. Great contribution Scots. Seems like Crumpy is one of the only ones left out of the loop with this one.
  7. Kerr out for the season with a damaged scaffoid, a part which was already plated.
  8. Apparently Pijper now guests for Lewis. Unlucky Lewis for both his teams.
  9. Tried to get "riggers" to the meeting, but is now watching footie, after all that George has done for Peterborough.
  10. Blob, If it wasn't for George you would be at Newcastle on Sunday. Don't forget it. Gloating. Stating facts which are now different due to George. And it's MR Knobhead to you if you don't mind.
  11. So after all that internal grief you gave yourself, and stating" if you had brains,etc....", you won't even be there. Part timer, and all gob.
  12. Edinburgh are now at Peterborough after cooperation from George to allow it. Can you not read.
  13. Wouldn't commit to new dates and even a double header two days in a row, to help get the tie done and dusted, but the answer was always no. You have Riggers. Not for the first time, mind. Wonder where you will be on Sunday. 'If you have any brains you will be there', so I expect you to be at the footie.
  14. Who the hells riggers when he's about. Probably Spanish football on the tele, curtesy of George helping BSPA and both teams get their fixture on. BTW. Been a bit late in coming to the party, change of fixture dragged you out eh. So you will be there now. Thought you said that you preferred to go elsewhere.
  15. Must have slipped your little mind that George's cooperation was required. If it was right in the first case, George would not have needed to cooperate, the fixture would have been announced as standing. DavyH Note my comments. It wasn't Newcastle holding up the tie with Glasgow.
  16. Would seem like that George has been persuaded to let Edinburgh go to Peterborough, for some reason. He didn't have to, but it seems he was prevailed on to allow it, as as it says it needed George to cooperate when he didn't need to. Seems 'it's in the best interest of PL speedway". Just hope the sacrifice by Newcastle, allows the mighty hoards of Panther fans to attend as they have indicated on here.
  17. Maybe. If you read an earlier communiqué about this development, you would understand the many hoops that they have had to go through to get to this stage. Damned if they do, damned if they don't, but the critics will always be right. Easiest seat in the house.
  18. So do you think that Newcastle have announced our meeting without agreeing it with Alex Harkess, Edinburgh promoter and chairman of the BSPA.
  19. We leave that to you and fellow Panthers. I refer you to post 43 by Chewbacca.
