  1. But a lot of better riders would and do Colin.
  2. Can't believe that Kus would really prefer riding for Redcar over Berwick. He was a depressed young man at Redcar, with very little support, but made himself a fans favourite and a match winner on a track much more suited to his style. Took him a little while to get started, but when he did, he scored big and big points means bigger wages. Perhaps Kus feared he would not get a ride and bowed to the pressure and the alternative.
  3. Only if the contract is not binding, or it is OK'd between the parties. In football loan deals ARE enforceable.
  4. It was previously announced as a 2 year loan deal. Both promotions spoke to each other at the AGM and agreed a loan, and it has been reported in the interview that is quoted, that Havvy changed his mind and demanded £21k for Kus. You are right, "there's more to this than a press release", but fortunately it doesn't point to much wrong on the Berwick side.
  5. Due to the worsening weather forecast for tomorrow, there will be no track work at Brough on Sunday. Depending on the weather, we will restart the work after the New Year. More details to follow nearer the time. May I take this opportunity to thank everyone who have given their time and efforts so far, and wish you all a very Merry Xmas and an even happier New Year.
  6. So reneging on a loan deal is OK then.
  7. But what happens if Kus did sign a 2 year real last year.
  8. The rule book for 2015 will not even at the printers yet. It needs decisions made at the AGM to be ratified, and printing of the rule book can commence. The rules being quoted are from the 2014 rule book. As 'dontforgetthefueltsbrov' has said, the draft minutes will be circulated and then published as "a true record". What I am told is Gary knew at the AGM. But riding at number 1 at Worky with harder rides. Also ignoring his form at Poole of course.
  9. Well, it's the same guy making the same 'mistakes' apparently.
  10. Down to negotiation or by edict of the BSPA if no agreement.
  11. So if nothing was said, why have other promotions condemned the signing on a 7. Do you really think the Rob G would say what he has said unless it was valid.
  12. Bollocks. The decision was made to the people who hire riders.
  13. No, I do't think they do want him, but are making it impossible for him to get a ride in this country, unless they can can fiddle £21k out of Berwick, which is never going to happen.
  14. How, when it was announced at the AGM that all new Aussies come in on a 7. At least 3 promotions are quoting that fact, so I don't think that Somerset will get away with another con.
  15. Don't worry, Berwick will track Kus on a loan deal, regardless of what someone wants for him. Slavery was abolished years ago.
  16. No he will probably come back with "Explain".
  17. Never said or implied he was as good as Doyle. Very selective argument, but not even 'doubting' you can disagree that Josh is a better rider now.
  18. I'll bet he is the only one doing that to his legs.
  19. Yes, I was there as well. Very smooth natural style based, on superb balance. Like a new Peter Craven.
  20. Well said. I like Kus and applaud what he did this last year.
  21. Oh no it doesn't. Averages are calculated with every rider having 4 rides, Match scores have 2 extra rides for 2 riders. The fact that Josh is a better rider now seems to have evaded your thinking.
  22. Ha ha. Glad you spotted that as HT is a mate. i don't think he has spotted it yet though, probably washing and drying those shorts out still.
