Yes, hence my comment about 'family' bruv.
-
Wonder if he will become a genuine asset or is he just being placed to get an average. It's happened before, family connections.

We don't either, but we are b****y stuck with him. We thought when this British Billionaire was going to buy us, we had thought that it would mean we would be like say Man City, money being spent and a upward change in our fortunes. How wrong were we.

What fine was that. A bond is required with a set level. A club is expected to have an assets value, and if it is short of the bond level, the difference has to be made up with a further sum kept on file.

Which is still very true. BTW Most of what you say goes over many heads as not being very relevant. But keep trying.

We probably need souwesters and wetsuits most weeks.
-
Very true. That'll just go WOOOSH over the heads of some Panthers fans on here.

It's called product reinforcement.

As well as Get Newcastle's Ashley Away. Now I know Arson would volunteer for that, along with the rest of the 52 thousand.

Are you aware of the other GNAA.(Gay N!gger Association of America) I kid you not. Which one did you say you Volunteered for ?

Don't worry, that is already controlled. People who put the sheets down, or work on the air fence with me, are known and, if people tried to get in without helping, those who do help soon let you know, and with good reason. An idea was floated last year whereby tokens were to be issued to those who do the work, and it might reappear this year I think. I am regularly asked if 'so and so' did the sheets, cos they are trying to get in, so there are checks in process. Track staff are very valuable fans without whom, there would not be speedway at any track. During the Winter the same people are at Brough every Sunday putting posts in, renetting, painting, making kick boards, digging trenches, air fence washing, to first of all close down the track, and then to get it in shape for Practice day the next season. Same people ever year, with none of the knockers showing any interest in helping. That's right, the track staff do the Winter work for nowt except coffee and biscuits. Interesting bit about the numbers in vans at the pit gate. It was known about folks from other tracks getting in for nowt, in exchange for our staff getting in for nowt at their track. Some thought the management didn't know. Ha Ha. Also, I really can't understand why anyone would bitch about track staff getting free admittance, a guest voucher, chips, burger, free proggie, coffee all day or whatever. The people who comment on it have no desires to do the work, so why should they berate the concessions that they get for putting down and picking up the sheets and air fence late at night and in cold and pissing rain. It's nowt to do with them, and it is small change for what they do.

I think if Jake Allen had been dropped by Berwick, it would have leaked out onto Twitter, Facebook, etc, by Aussie sources by now.

Quite agree. He was a vey enthusiastic rider.

Didn't Newcastle's Paul McHale only have one eye.

It's actually a Supporters Club do for fans who want to attend speedway social occasions. If we didn't put these things on, some would certainly be banging on about their absence. It just coincides with the chance to announce the last two riders. It's FREE FFS. Last year the whole team was announced over a very short period of time, and folks on here said they didn't have much to look forward to during the Winter. You change it to suit them, and you get hammered if you do it.

Note that it says FLOODLIGHTS will be erected. That gives you options.

More like Grumpy99 making a late contribution.

Best gater Ivan ( I think he invented gating ) Best racer Nicki (never gives up and finds gaps) Not biased like.

Great to hear such positives at Glasgow. Mention should be made of the continued mentoring of Gordon Pairman, who although not domiciled here and his involvement in another promotion, continues to play such an outstanding role in keeping Glasgow Speedway afloat and continuing. Top man. Can't wait for the Diamonds visit this year.

Worky, Berwick and Newcastle.

Quite agree. If they are 'tried' in a World Cup, with no senior riders, you will undo everything confidence and ability wise. Plus it would make a mockery of the event, and the 'failure' would have a very wide public, which both riders and Team GB can do without. Far better to have lesser Test meetings against other B teams, and watch them progress this way.

Scb Have Issued New Clothing Regs For Speedway
Tsunami replied to barncooseboy's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Spelt it wrong. The 'K' should follow the 'n'. -
It's not the way the business had been run before. In the few occasions that this tactic has been tried, the rider went to club wanting to loan him, on a loan.

No tin hat needed Arson, just a suggestion you read again the evidence and the reason it was decided one was guilty and the other not guilty. Pretty convincing to me. If I cop off with a girl who is only just able to say YES. If I ring you, and you jump on after me without permission, what does that make you. ME, i'm innocent.
