Newcastle, under Ian Thomas. Incidently, in 2013 Andrew Tully broke his back in the press and practice sessions and we were allowed R/R till he returned.

Despite the fact that an analysis released before Xmas was that less that 30 minutes of football was actually played in the 90 minutes.

Richie Hall has apparently informed Redcar that he is not riding in 2015, due to 'personal circumstances". Another vacancy.

What The Visa Issues Could Mean For Teams.
Tsunami replied to doners1234's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Some Aussie riders don't even bother with them, and regard their Summer as recreational time. -
Nope. The rider on a visitor visa is not allowed to ride a bike anyway. If a team had really wanted to try out a guy, without getting found out, they should do it in private, and not of course pass comments in programme notes on how good the rider was.
-
Yes. The UNVI people have a file of every foreign rider who has ridden in second halves in the last three years. I think the earliest one was Max Fricke riding at Edinburgh. According to the visitor visa that they use, they are not allowed to ride in a public or private meeting even if they are not receiving payments.

Aye. Their lass did his hair.

Possibly not the best phrase to use. -
Certainly is. We used St John's for years since we opened in 1997. Good relationship, and they used our meetings to train new staff in preparation for their other big events. You couldn't get moved at the meetings for personnel, which was way above any minimum requirement that we paid for. There seemed to be a change in the national organisation about 4 years ago, when they started to demand certain things such as they must also supply the Doctor/Paramedic, along with a massive increase in their rates. We discussed it with them, but they wanted the whole show and at their rates. In view of the fact that we have always hired two ambulances, and we have 3 Doctors who are speedway fans, at our meetings, their proposals were just not acceptable, so we went for a local private organisation who supply the NHS. Together we have reviewed the level of cover, and have a good relationship with their senior personnel. Together with their staff, our Doctors and Riders trained them is such cases such as removing a helmet without damaging the patient after a crash. They are not cheap, but certainly cheaper that the 'double your money' demands we had from St Johns. They are very much run as a National organisation now, hence their inroads into national advertising and extensive training and services, which they now offer industry.

I didn't know about that one. Remember the later one, which was to build within, was it ScotWastes, factory area. Hope it comes back as being viable, cos that looks a terrific design.
-
Wow. Where was that going to be built.

Depends if they are related to someone here. Patriality or something.

NEWCASTLE SPEEDWAY SUPPORTERS CLUB Announcing our next evening event in March, 2015. On Sunday 22nd March at the Corner House, Coast Road, Heaton, starting at 7.30pm, we are holding a MEET the RIDERS night, combined with a Fun Quiz. All the riders will be there and interviewed by George, in between the rounds of the Quiz. Always a great and popular night, so if you want to personally meet the riders after their earlier practice session, come along and it's FREE entry. Teams of 4 for the quiz with a small entry fee. Be nice to see the return of the splendid turnout we had for the Race Night we had in January. And of course there is a raffle.

You have no idea of project planning processes then. You can only hope for things, especially when someone else is driving the project.
-
How can anybody promise when they are not in charge of the project development. I would suggest is was planned, but project setup duration took longer than hoped. Pity it hadn't just been 45 days, then you could join the happy clappers for once.

Priority Over Double Up Riders 2015
Tsunami replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It was originally devised to give PL riders a chance to dip their toe in higher level racing, without having to sign formally for an EL slot. The intentions were good, just the same as doubling down was to supplement riders in the EL with extra meetings, without having to sign for a foreign team. Went wrong somewhere in the middle tho. -

6 ish. -
Must admit I thought exactly that. Given that it is part of a greater sports complex, neighbours possible accept it as a great facility for their area. Pity more don't see it the same way.

You mean a bit like you and immigration per se.

And Burgas. Spent time during the day in the city centre, and never felt so depressed to be with down and outs and portly folk wearing charity clothes. They resembled upper class Romanians. Pimps in the street supervising Prossers with red eyes, and drugged to hell, being shuffled around the town when the Police were around. And you want to compare that with young folk enjoying themselves in the TOON centre. You must be desperate for ammunition these days Kevan. You obviously have not been to the rejuvenated Newcastle that we have had for many years now. Must have something in your craw with the North East methinks.

He used a Spanish non de plume for a while after he left to live there. They must have hoyed him back.

Now deliberately missing the point.
