Top stadia or great racing strips. Newcastle - you decide.

Saw that happen at Armadale in about 1998 when both Jesper Olsen and Scott lamb were excluded in a racing incident.

The difficulty sidney is that whilst it would increase the strength of the EL numerically, the teams involved would only be the strength of the PL due to the lack of class riders to go around.

I see that no one has replied to your query PO. I do seem to remember that someone alluded to it a few years ago on the BSF. Hope someone does reply as I would also like to know as well. -
Berwick V Newcastle Saturday 16th May Premier League

Yes, We try to run the training school every week starting in May. Unfortunately the rain has stopped the last two weeks, but we are hoping to run the school this Sunday. Ran the school since 2008 and at one time we used to have about 16 riders in our 1.5hours slot. The start of the Gems in the NJL gives all the riders an opportunity to race, as well as ride at their level. I am getting about 6 each week riding in second half races, and trying to give them all two races each. That's 500's and 125's. The teams you mentioned are the NJL if you swap Castleford, Halifax and Northside for Edinburgh and Glasgow. -
I enjoyed that and loved the improvements that have been made at the club. Just hope Glasgow Speedway can keep a hold of all them fans. Looking forward to going to Glasgow this year.

Don't rush away at the end of the meeting, as in the second half it is Berwick versus the Newcastle Gems in the Northern Junior League. 6 races of junior racing with kids about 9 years old and upwards. -
Yes, in our match on TV against Berwick, it was understood that Robin Aspergin for Berwick and Ludde for Newcastle would cancel out each other, so Newcastle took the booking on that understanding. Robin didn't get picked for his Swedish team, but Ludde did, so we had to use Adam McKinna instead and still managed to win.

Don't kid yourself. When the whole fiasco of visa's was raised last mid season by the UKVI with the BSPA, they handed them a dossier of riders riding second halves being tried out for the next season. All Frickes first rides were in the dossier. So how did they know about them.

Not to my knowledge, but I know fixtures have to run before a certain date and discussions are taking place. I'll put the new dates on here when dates are agreed.

A bit like Shearer and baldyman. -
No, he came up and said he had been looking for me. I was told a guy had wanted to speak to me about the training school, and then my wife had said she had told you it was me on the centre green before the meeting started. I obviously thought he was you, and I never asked him his name. We talked about the meeting and riders, but he did say "I didn't come last year' which should have twigged it knowing you had said you were here last year. We talked about youth riders and our mascot's father was standing beside me and we talked with him. He then said he better get back and left.

Been at the track this morning and Jonny has had to remove a lot of lying rainwater off the inside of the bends. I saw on Tuesday, on Dogs SKY, that the lying water from last Sunday was still there, and we have had overnight rain on both Fri and now Sat night. Fortunately there has been no more rain, so Jonny will have the usual grippy surface with plenty of drive. See you there.
