We signed him for the following season, but I believe one of the previous seasons riders wanted to stay with us so interest in Jonas was dropped.
-
Our ex-signing Jonas B Anderson didn't.
-
Richie would fit as he is 6.84 and we have 6.87 plus any reduction that Lambert has. Kus is about 7.13, which might then just be enough, or we could go for a new 7 point assessed rider. Rosen on 5.14 would seem to be a waste of points, but not such a waste or points if it was Rosen and Simon. Decisions, decisions.

,,,,and back to Swindon Stadium.

Tai Should Never Ride For Team Gb Again

Didn't work for Rickardsson did it. -
Think I read that he was not expecting to return to Edinburgh next year, and neither was Sedgmen.

Ignoring the fact of course that these cuts are to get us out of the financial mess that your caring lot left us in. Move on. Watch the news and see what this government is preparing to do. Then watch the other bit on the news to see what your leader is not prepared to do. ....and now back to the Swindon Stadium.

SCB is NOT a Newcastle fan.

Have we not already been there and found wanting.

Apparently.

You come out with some Gems, you do.

Whilst I support the current registration asset system, it does lead to unfair practices. A rider under contract to a team does not want to ride for his own team. His promoter wants him to stay on his terms, and insists on him staying or a transfer fee. If another team only wants to loan a rider, the affected rider has a choice of signing a low reward deal, or not ride that year. That is unfair, and flies in the face of the usual cooperation between clubs. Even if a rule, whereby a rider not in the new season 1 to 7 automatically is a free agent to go on loan, doesn't solve the problem, as the asset owning club just includes the rider till he either quits or signs for a low deal. There are many advantages to both rider and asset owning promotion with the asset system, but the above case is not fair and compatible to employment laws IMO.

Good fun this ruffheed, isn't it.

Expect him to have a kilt on, rather than riding a broomstick.

Just thinking this morning, there could be an opportunity to blood a new 7.00 pointer assessed average rider along with Rose. No 'inside' on this, but it would work if we have been tracking someone like Jonas B Andersen at Redcar, and would save the hassle of trying to keep Havvy happy with a large transfer fee for Kus. Just a thought.
-
Havvy is up to his usual tricks and demanding a transfer fee for Kus, despite it is OK for him to get loan agreements for his team. If he is not using him, he should be forced into a loan agreement. Never though I would be supporting an attempt to get Kus to Newcastle, but his year he has rode well, topscoring at Peterborough and Glasgow, whilst a guest for us. He is a lovely pleasant lad and, given time, he could master our track. Might not be on now of course, but Rose, Simon, Wilco, Kus and Rosen seem to be the best options at the moment. About 10.75 available, plus whatever reduction would be allowed from Lambert's average for NL duties.

Bit to go yet to match your lot and Cookie.

But Phil told me...........
-
Already rumoured to have already signed for Ipswich, but their team has not been announced yet.
-
I think that will depend on the status of the meeting. If say an FIM meeting yes, but not the sort of friendlies like Germany, Austria, etc and open meetings.
-
Well, that's a big signing in anybodies book. The club in their announcement, said the signings were going to be exciting, and of course they have delivered. No doubt the biggest signing in the PL this season. The test is now to see if it reverses the trend, and as well as getting stay away fans, to get new ones to swell the crowd. Not sure about the £110 per point if true. if it achieves what the signing was intended to do, fans will be happy to see such a signing and the chances of seeing new stars develop, whilst winning exciting meetings, should silence any doubters. The challenge is now on to the stay away fans to return and enjoy their speedway. I certainly hope so. 3 more riders to go, and i think the key signing now will be the 3 pointer. Meetings, home and especially away, could be won from the reserve riders. I would go with Liam Carr, but I think Berwick have got him in a stranglehold and not releasing him. Looking forward to more news shortly.

Normally if you want your vote to count in your absence, you give someone that is at the meeting your proxy vote to vote on your behalf. Interesting that it was Edinburgh who came to the tapes last year with two 3 pointers at 6 and 7.
-
Yes, but the BSPA AGM is split between last years business, followed by next years business. A team in the last season, who is not in next years season, leaves the meeting during the interval. Very sensible really.
-
Yes, and i am sure he will be back at Ipswich with Lewis Kerr.
