Because that is the list that has gone to all those mentioned and asking the riders if they want to join the system. No good publishing the list for critics like you, rather wait till the list is formal and then publish it. That's how business is done, not lashed out to just to satisfy the critics.

BIgred, when he copied the list, missed 6 riders off Archie Freeman, George Rotherby, Gregor Millar, James Chattin, Macauley Leek

It’s all a do about nothing. There are obviously things to sort out before the final list is released. So they are late, were you planning your year and holidays around the published list, whilst at the same time plenty on here are arguing between themselves about whether there will be any speedway this year in the UK. Get real and wait, when they are ready they will be ready, and you will be nearer the time when a decision is made as to if British Speedway can resume on 1st May, 2021. Chill.
-
Or they haven't resolved the fixtures especially the need for Plymouth to accept the offer to join. Pity people don't think for themselves rather than 'join the gang'.
-
What do you expect them to say when someone else jumps the gun before the list is finalised.

Sold all his gear recently.

Joe and Dan Thompson are both 1* riders in the new system.

I'd forgot about Halder, but the rest are very debatable and some really non runners. Let's see what Rob comes up with after he is released from hospital. -

He doesn't. He had serious injuries many years ago and eventually retired because of them. -

Of course, and that was my philosophy when I started the original Gems in 2002, but at the end of the day, the team has got still have a cutting edge and compete. No-one is going to stop and watch a junior team getting thrashed every meeting. The secret is to get half the team cable of winning races, and able to help and bring the best out of the good youngsters behind them. It's not an either or, but a mixture of both. I was lucky having new riders in Robertson, Lawson and Craig Branney, with other youngsters. -

Douglas is nowhere near NL level. Wallinger is a not certain, and Philips unlikely due to his family ties. There would have to be a big drop in standard, remembering that both Joe and Josh were not heat leaders in the NL previously, and others locally in the same situation. The other problem, but more so, is the make up for the Sapphires team. -

Nothing strange at all. I can see Archie , Danny and Josh, possibly Joe and hopefully Wallinger, but we will struggle for the rest. -
Ha ha. Not really, They have a great entertaining top end, and we have to assume all the other riders will turn up, and getting a decent reserve shouldn't be that difficult.

So why no Josh at 7 ? -
I don't think there would be any chance of that.
-
Yes, probably they agreed to publish them in a weeks time as per the statement, but clubs being clubs don't always comply with the request for their team.
