  1. I think it's probably an invitation/opportunity for him to think about and either accept or reject. Shows he hasn't been forgot about.
  2. He was involved in the horror smash with Rene Bach in about 2011, when Rene ended up under the 4th bend fence, and smashed both his legs. Derek Sneddon showed immense courage by holding up the wire fence for about 15 minutes, whilst the medics treat him, and kept the fence from pressing on Rene's legs. One of the many crashes Jordan has been involved in, which was a shame because he could have been a very good rider.
  3. I have the same experiences One rider I know has run over the same rider twice now, but it won't happen again as the fallen rider has now retired. He's feeling rundown (only joking)
  4. The problem is when they don't drop it, but freeze and continue to hit the fallen rider.
  5. Yes, in the old days things were thrown onto the track to make a rider show he could drop the bike. I gather it went out of fashion due to the riders getting hurt and/of damaging their bike. I think nowadays new riders, trying to slide and drop it, are really practicing, unbeknown to them, ready for when they have to drop it.
  6. I seem to remember that Danyon had a bad injury about 2 years ago. Hips or legs ?
  7. Fabulous for you to recount the full history of Exeter's last season with Oakes. Always wondered why Mauger would join Exeter with all the hurdles, after Belle Vue.
  8. He acquired that name by Roy, the presenter at Newcastle, who gave all Diamonds riders nicknames for his commentary. He didn't earn it as, as you say, he does chases back wheels and doesn't give up.
  9. Lubos left plenty of room for Jason and he unfortunately picked up a lot of grip. Racing accident. IMO.
  10. And he has done quite well at Scunny Amateur meetings last year, which has probably wet his appetite.
  11. So wrong on so many counts as others can testify. It doesn't deserve a proper reply.
  12. Frankly, it's important not to release anything at the moment, and only release news when there is more certainty to the official start of the new season.
  13. Yes I have, but it doesn't match your hissy fit. I am involved hence I know about it. Rob obviously hasn't told you about it, so what you don't know you have invented stuff in explanation which was not true and then having a go at me.. After threatening to walk away a few weeks ago when you got gubbed by Rob for revealing confidential info, his team, you are again threatening to walk away again. What's next ?
  14. Interesting comment. Usually folks in speedway give the BSPL a lot of flack for not planning ahead. Now they are planning ahead and trying to get a decent riders pool for future years, "folks' are once again criticising them for trying to have a plan. Nothing funnier than 'folks'.
  15. ALL streams on income are important to running a speedway.
  16. Current average is only one factor in the star selection task.
  17. Stopped reading things I see ?. The list has been complied, the star ratings agreed, and the riders (in private by post) have been asked if they wish to be on board with it, and then the finalised scheme and riders involved will be announced no doubt. Yes, some riders already have team places because they are good, but only one per team at the moment. See you are going the over the top again.
  18. And your earth shattering scheme would be...........
  19. Obviously you haven't been watching the BYC 500cc finals in the last 2 years. Look at the result in the Scunny BYC meeting last year when those 4 riders were in the final and Freeman was in third place and just got pipped on the last corner.
  20. Again, well said and those intentions have to be understood, rather than dig out the usual critics. My understanding is that the rider stays in that position for the whole year. If you remember the other 2 previous schemes, both were scrapped when rider/s improved more than they were allowed to.
  21. Nope. Those 6 riders were missed off the list that was copied and posted by Bigred as I said. That's it. That's where you go wrong John. Stating and assuming things not true to not like the scheme. Has Rob not trusted you with the info? BSPA haven't released the scheme just that there was a scheme...... the riders were all issued with the fuller document late last week.... so he asked and was put on so what's the problem.... Much easier being a critic these days
