Should Ex Riders Get Into Speedway Free?
Tsunami replied to Grachan's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Says the knob who at every opportunity has a go against riders such as Tai, and the injured Darcy Ward. You really are a dross person, who i would not like to be given privilege admission to any speedway. -
It wasn't questioned by Edinburgh but.
-
Yes of course. There was only us and Newport played to the spirit of the CL, hence my comment regarding the trophy hunters, who used good reserves and dropped them when they got an average and to then sign the next top up and coming rider. Roynon and Mildenhall for example. It's the same principle with the current Gems. Track time is everything.

The team that brought you Willie Lawson, Jamie Robertson, Craig and John Branney, Richard Hall, Kris Irvine, Carl Shield, Lango langley, Gary Flint, Phil Bragg, Mike Pickering, Danny Hughes, Ash Johnson, John McPhail, John Morrison and many many good triers. A league spoilt by the trophy hunters.

Up here, allo allo would be "ya alreet".

Certainly is. Speak as you see it. Easy marra.

Correct, but he started his Speedway career at Newcastle. Check my site Newcastle Speedway Training group, and photos from the day Ivan Mauger came to visit us.

The difficulty with a 3 meeting final, is not just the availability of riders and more disruption of the league teams, but the probability of the winner being known early, and there being not much interest after that, with either a very depleted field of a string of reserves replacing missing riders or non interested racing.

Well I thought it was a cracking meeting, with about 10 riders in with a shout late on in the meeting. Grumble grumble grumble.

I don't think your first example needs an answer, and especially your second one. -

It's not for us to say, it is the landlords. At some tracks like Berwick, you were never allowed on the grass even before the new BSPA 2016 ruling. Why should any rider challenge a non grass ruling and jeopardise the continuation of the rental situation by ignoring the rules. The signs are there, so riders should have no problems reading them and obeying them. -

Yes, and the return of the training school as well. -

Robbie thought there was a threat of rain at 2.00 and 6.00, but the real damage was the soft shale on the corners. It couldn't have been from last night, as it didn't rain that much, so it must have been standing water dropped earlier in the week. Another empty Sunday. -

Confirm tonight's meeting is off due to waterlogged and soft track -
Rye House V Newcastle Premier League 11/06/2016

Poor result. We should have had the firepower to get 3 or 4 points. These results, like Sheffield no points, could prove costly to our Play off chances. Interesting that was Ryes 6th home meeting with no away meetings yet. -
EXACTLY. Publish and be damned, withhold the details and be damned and be accused of Freemasonry secrecy.

Panthers Vs Tigers 10/6/16
Tsunami replied to LagutaRacingFan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Quite correct. At one time with Denham it was everything Lawson and then everything Cookie for some reason. Must have been a fallout along the way. -
British Final

Quite agree. Stevie's tape infringements are usually anticipating the start or moving at the tapes. -
It could be submitted if he does appeal.

Future Of British Speedway?
Tsunami replied to Christopher Bcmma Cook's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Mainly because it was bloody useless in 1997. Last three heats all nominations was a nightmare, especially if you had injuries. Couldn't dump it quick enough. In the PL we didn't have 6 man teams in 1998. -
And admits his guilt in it as well.

Yes it did. Must compliment the OP CBC on their well thought out proposals. Yes, there could be probs with availability, number of meetings, skewed averages, etc, but it is probably the best presented alternative that have seen on here. A lot of effort and consideration, but of course it has to be based on many assumptions and that is what others have highlighted and dismissed. If we all could agree the basic assumptions the rest of putting leagues and teams together would be relatively easy. Unfortunately we don't start from the same base, being top riders against top racing, big high paid stars or moderate riders. if the new 6 man team experiment works, it would be better in many ways with less guests and RR and the abolishment of double points from the gate. So it's really the return of TS's off 15M say. Our manager George English is very thorough and experienced, and knows more than most about teams and management. Him together with the enthusiastic Rob, is a good mix of experience and enthusiasm, together with the views of others in attendance, I am sure something positive will result from this initiative. Perhaps they should co-opt Christopher Bcmma Cook as the fans input.
