Aint that the truth. Hansen was known to have said he wanted to join the Diamonds, and shortly after other teams including Worky were quoting similar associations. The old 'of cause I love you' play.

It's a Danish thing. Dane on Dane races were always top affairs at Newcastle in the 00's. -
The Friendly between Newcastle Gems and the Carmarthen Dragons, which was arranged for 14th August, has now been cancelled.

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Tsunami replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
We're still waiting for Robert72 to give me the names of the two juniors that I said I would investigate, to see if Robert's accusation was in fact true. Not holding my breath mind. -
Quite agree about the excellent running of the meeting. Throughly enjoyed it and will continue to support it in future years. Agree about Tobias who had a distinct resemblance in person and riding to my favourite rider Nikki P. Despite the honourable band of speedway folks backing and getting Tobias a booking, I don't think it was right, given it is usually a competition for British riders, or at least should be. I would not be surprised if Tomas Syke? has ridden in it, but the same criticism goes for him as well. Let's keep these competitions/meetings for British riders only. NB Didn't realise you were there screm, as I looked for you in your usual seat and sat in the block just before it.

He has enough difficulty writing it.

Should Ex Riders Get Into Speedway Free?

Except of course that they are NOT hobbyists. They are British and foreign professional photographers who have to be vetted and issued with a pass to allow them to take photos for their chosen career. Just another rant from you. -

Of course it is. Cutting across the centre green does and can be dangerous under some circumstances, hence the reason for the rule. Normally with the new rule this year, I have noticed more start line staff are holding up the tapes with say a rake to allow the late rider to duck under them, spin around and make the 2 mins. It doesn't appear to have been done in this Kerr incident, so he did the common sense thing of creeping around the inner start pole. If any photographers or medical staff are that close, they are in breach of the 2 or 4 metre rule of personal from the inner kerb. Seems like some are moaning for the sake of it, again. Wonder what the reaction would have been if Kerr had been excluded, probably the same folks would complain about officialdom being nitpicking(and not using 'common sense'). -

Except of course that the texter on updates has said that 'Kerr drove around the course direct to the startline 'and only rode around the start post'. Hardly 'cutting across the grass track' which does put medical and red flag people in danger of being hit by the bike. -
Yes, but it is also no sense or decency to just accept famous people swear to a public gathering to make themselves 'cool'.

Was there not two original contenders for the robert72 tag, but the other one ruled on on age and only because this Homer was reported as being born in 1972. -
And he lives in the same street or village that potential team mate Lewis Rose lives. Already travelled up with him last year and done OK. I think you will find that that was the basis of what Arson was saying/querying. Peterborough's attitude toward Lambert is obviously a certain factor in discussions about him. it is the rules, without reference to Lambert, that should be discussed N e P.

Apart from the R/R crap. A good nights racing and brilliant performance by our top 4. Scunny unfortunately were a two man team and it was nice to see that one of them was the returning Lewis Kerr. He started slowly but had some great races after that. Track was good and Jonny kept the dirt in play at all times, by using the scarifier grader ensuring there was dirt on all lines. Being our off race night brought the usual poor crowd level, which is a pity as the missing few missed out on a great powerful show. I had hoped the Scunny had turned the corner, after the Glasgow result, but i suppose Davies injury possibly knocked the stuffing out of them. Well, now onto the next round of the cup with visitors/opposition in the form of the strong team from Sheffield next Sunday. Many happy birthday greetings for Matej who rode brilliantly and was giving out free t-shirts in celebration of his birthday. Great to see it Matej. In the morning/afternoon next Sunday, we will be holding a training school, FREE to all Diamonds riders/fans. As usual everyone needs to be at Brough for 10.30 to do the dog track sheets, prior to the session which starts at 1.00pm till 2.30. Can everyone make every effort to help with the sheets, all riders must help if they ride, as without this help there would be no training school.

Same as he bottled out with my offer to check the story's of the two riders that he talked about on here, but wouldn't share their names on here a few weeks ago. Still waiting for him to take up the offer.
