Doesn't need to, he'll have a BSPA pass1+1.
-
Good to hear.
-
Good points.
-
I think when the first sheets are available the averages will have to be regulated to 42 points, because the meeting will produce 90 points, the same way as the 50 points figure used for the new Premiership. They could go to 42.5 or anything higher, but that would mean the leagues would need more riders to get to that level.
-
It's still done at Brough but only with second halfs. If the fixture is in the programme, the ref takes that meeting.
-
I was aware of that, more answering your comment in the third sentence. Like you, I will support Connor all the way, and hope Danny picks up the challenge to be top reserve.
-
Been there and found not good enough. I wouldn't have welcomed either Greenwood, far better go for a newer emerging rider like Coles, Hume. Mountain, JPB, Shanes, etc. Just hope Connor has inherited his Dad's and Granddad's will to win on the track. Even riding for Exeter, Michael was one of the few riders who would get good scores everywhere, showing he wasn't a one track pony like many Exeter former riders. He always gave his all and it was a pleasure to watch his gutsy style, even though i think he never used to wash his Kevlars. They were always scruffy. Hope his Dad is in his corner all the time to pass on his enthusiasm. If i remember correct SCB's favourite riders used to be Frank Smart AND Michael Coles.

Keynsham I believe.

In addition it is making spaces in teams for the incoming youngsters, something that most fans wanted a couple of years go when it was wrongly introduced first in the then EL. We have to keep going with youth development to stock our teams in the future, and be less reliant on foreign riders and be stuck with too many DU's. You have to have an eye for the future.
-
But Chris, surely you can't be right, despite your vast knowledge of watching many NL teams last year. NuFc 1892 can name at least 10 better riders than Danny. Pity he didn't mention just one of them last year. Anyway, I'm always wary of someone who 'likes' his own post.
-
I've no doubt he will be back.
-
He has signed for Second Division Lublin ?
-
Would I ?
-
And Connor is only young, in fact he is a miner.
-
I did try to tell you. Connor Coles is Michael Coles son, he rides for Mildenhall and has a higher average that Danny in the NL.
-
i think some are very close .
-
I think it was quoted in last weeks Speedway Star. Intention was to drip feed, but in view of at least 3 teams already announcing their full teams, George and Alan have changed the plans.
-
Try looking for 'lackies" alongside brownnosers, instead of Lacky.
-
Or I have more tact and style. Again you are not getting personal are you. You used the word Lacky with reference that you said 'you wouldn't want to upset ya mates'. Funny you have repeated the circumstances almost perfect. You used the name cos I wouldn't accept your point of view towards a club matter. So for someone who doesn't get personal you have now used Lacky, Coward, liar and probably other names when talking about the TOON, I am always 'not at the same match you were'. Just because I don't see the game the same as you. You seem to have a problem. END OF.
-
Where did I say you did. Get reading what I wrote again. You often make it personal as a dig. Who called me a 'Lacky' because I work hard for the club. You might say as you see it, but we get used to you just being a critic for critics sake, gets boring. You're a critic, i'm a supporter. Back to type again, but you don't get personal remember.
-
You seem to forget that Dandelion has that same right. Who was it who said "It's a forum. It's all about opinions and viewpoints". It's often you that makes it personal, as well I know.

Newcastle Speedway Track Work, 2016/7
Tsunami replied to Tsunami's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
SUNDAY 25th November, 2016 We will be meeting at Brough at 10.00am to do the finishing off of the work in the office complex. Finishing the floor work, laying the lino, fitting the skirting boards, finishing the tiles and generally tidying the place up/ If you can join us it would be appreciated. Hot Drinks and Bickies throughout. See you there in old warm clothing, but we will be indoors. -
That brings in another issue. Averages don't include bonus points, so for every 5-1 for LL and Kus between them, they have lost a point, hence slightly lower averages. People conveniently miss out that LL has been our best captain for years. I always stick up for him as I have the regular pleasure of him either helping out at the track in the winter, supporting us when we do presentations and school visits, and the actually assistance that he has given the juniors. No doubt I will be knocked once again for mentioning it, but at least I know it and my knockers don't. Robert I don't think will make a captain and rightly so. He needs to concentrate on himself to further his career.
-
Apparently has signed for a second level team Lublin ?, but no confirmation of what night he would be riding. Ironic that the pressure on British Speedway to race on one night, and now Poland and their TV seem it's OK to ride on any night to suit the Tele.
-
Quite correct and the BSPA know it. With more Brits, less need for training foreign riders and therefore less DU"s and guests. There is plenty going on in speedway to achieve the increase in Brit riders. Increased training sessions, British Youth Championships, Poultec schooling, MDL, NJL, Protected team positions and amended match formats, Training days, second half's, etc. Problem is they are all drip feed, but they WILL eventually start producing riders to replace the foreign riders. They have already started to come through from the initial good work of Neil Vatcher and Phil Morris, but in fairness you are needing probably say 4 years before you get a decent middle order team man.
