Have to admit to being impressed with how Kyle Newman has improved thought he rode well last night. Ward was def off last night thinking his knee injury is not helping him along with the amount of meetings he is doing not having much of a chance to rest it.

Again Easbourne lose out to Peterborough for Lewis's services, this is def the downside of having the draft riders in the Elite league would like to know how many times Peterborough have had to replace Lewis because he is riding for Eastbourne, poor replacement for him. Happy with Scott coming in though, just hope Captain Cam passes fit. Hope to see a few Poole fans visit Arlington for this

Depends on who you ask! There is good racing there despite what alot of people say and yes of course there are meetings where the racing is boring with no passing but on the whole it's not bad. Then again all tracks have meetings where the odd one is boring. The track has changed in shape slightly can't remember exactly when (I'm sure someone can tell me) the first and second bends were altered slightly where it was for the better or not is a matter of opinion!

Thanks didn't know what riders got for travel expenses, just interested to know how much it costs the clubs on top of the 'wages' for the riders.

Yes I'd like Eastbourne to stay in the top league but if comes down to premier racing or no racing then will take PL any day. Question I have is why do clubs have to pay for rider's flights most working people don't have their travel costs paid for is this the price we have to pay to have riders race over here? Do the foreign clubs they ride for pay for any of the travel costs? If not why don't they? If dropping to PL means we don't have to pay for things like this then maybe we'll have a chance to survive along with reducing the admission costs.

I would be surprised if houses were built here several projects in and around Eastbourne have stopped as they cant sell the houses they have built. Then again if these house builders built more houses for first time buyers then maybe they'd have more success. If I'm honest it's not the first time this has come up and doubt it will be the last and seriously think they would struggle to get planning permission even though it is a brownfield site.

Is this topic about Eastbourne vs Kings Lynn or about who can win the league and the play offs? If its the latter then the topic name needs to be changed! Dont wish to be rude but can we actually discuss the meeting??

Likewise have enjoyed the PL racing far more than EL racing would be interesting to know what the supporter level is like at PL tracks are they suffering too or are they doing ok/good for attendances?

Heard the rumour last night and have to be honest thought it was just that, hope something can be done to save Eastbourne and Birmingham don't like to see any tracks close. As Bob is stepping down and was always against dropping down a league hopefully this would be an option for a new promoter(s) personally think we should still keep to a Saturday night race night though as I believe now that the sunday trading hours have changed since Eastbourne last rode on a Sunday afternoon I don't think that the attendance would improve. As it looks likely that two tracks are going to go, would any clubs from the premier league want to step up to the so called Elite league? Seriously doubt that and do we want an even smaller Elite league next year or should we as I and many others have said combine the two leagues and have a north/south division and top two from each division go through to the play offs.

Really? Would like to thrash the pirates but think the score line may be closer than that.

So far managed to get one point away at Swindon. No he is not, as if he was then we would get first say on him. Lewis is owned by Ipswich who don't want to sell him as Eastbourne have tried to buy him.

Im not saying that we should but it should be more fairly worked out as at the moment is all going Peterborough's way there should be an even split for instance if theres ten matches where both teams have meetings that clash then each team should have five matches each to have Lewis ride and this should apply to any of the elite league/premier teams who share a reserve. I seriously think unless a fair solution is found many promoter's will want to change this system for next year.

Kim yes to replace Joonas not Timo think Timo has done much better than Joonas who has not really impressed me this season so far didnt want him back in the team if im honest. Changing the subject slightly it seems slightly unfair how Peterborough seem to have first say on Lewis

Thanks everyone it seems that theres more club's that do let you than originally thought. Definitely agree it's an added experience for children and I think for newbies to the sport in particular.

Yes I noticed that when I went up there in April thought there was a lot of wasted space by the pit area which could be put to better use, guess maybe thats in the plans at some point to update as and when money and maybe planning allows? I did however like the rst of the track found it clean and tidy and in particular liked how the stand opposite the start/finish line was above the track found it great to watch the racing from there.

Whilst ive not been to many away tracks, the ones I have been to the fans have not been allowed in the pits either before or after the meeting. Where as at Arlington this is allowed think its a good thing for the fans to have the chance to meet the riders and even during the meeting they are able to view whats going on in the pits which I believe adds to the experience. I do appreciate that some riders may not like this before a meeting when they are trying to prepare and focus on the job in hand but would be interested to know how many tracks allow this and if other fans like being able to do this?

Thoughts on tonights score? Im going for a home win by at least 10 points I hope especially if Simon rides as well as he did last week

Had a brief shower here this morning warm and sunny now meeting is on at the moment the club are confirming at lunch time suspect there will be no change and thankfully it looks like the weather forecast earlier in the week was wrong no surprise there! !!

Looking at the forecast for friday and saturday down here will be lucky if the meeting is on! Still wait and see how it pans out!

Due to a few extra meetings this year and saturday nights being the best night to race for eastbourne its the risk they have to take and some fans prefer to be at a meeting watching it seeing as they can record the gp that way can fast forward through the adverts and waffle!!

Well arent you the lucky one! You may want to take into consideration that some people go to work prior to going to the meeting and dont always have chance to have something to eat before their duties start but of course that doesnt matter
