  1. Then build top heavy? If not, you have 15 heats to avoid a “superheat”, if you can’t, tough. Birmingham were 10 points up, twice and still didn’t win. That’s their fault. Every club and every supporter knows the rules, if you finish level after 15 heats then it’s a superheat. I’m in the minority it seems reading the comments on here, I’ve no problem with that. I have my own opinion and won’t be swayed by others. For me it adds drama, you gain an extra heat with the 4 best riders on show for your money. OK it sucks if you’re on the wrong end of it, but if you’re on the winning end there’s no better feeling. A couple of seasons ago we had it twice at Ipswich and they were the lasting memory of the entire season for me personally. At the end of the superheats, strangers were hugging each other all over the place, you’d think we’d just won the title there and then! The place was buzzing. I’m all for anything that creates an extra bit of excitement. Birmingham didn’t lose their point for “drawing” did they? They still took their point.
  2. Nicholls isn’t guesting for Pawlicki, he’s a short term replacement and in the declared 1-7.
  3. https://x.com/speedwaygb/status/1771237514889605389?s=46 Fantastic from Bewley.
  4. Kind of relying on Bewley to have his usual Foxhall stinker. If he doesn’t we’re in a spot of bother
  5. Huge blow if Doyle is missing. Nicholls over R/R every time.
  6. Nothing wrong with a spoons! I mean food isn’t Michelin star stuff but it’s decent and the prices won’t be beaten. Fish and chips and a pint under a tenna, can’t go wrong.
  7. No weather concerns so good to go tomorrow. Always important to get off to good start, especially at home. Is tomorrow the day that Bewley finally comes to the party at Foxhall? He’s too talented a rider not to so it has to come at some point you’d think. Kurtz on the other hand rides it well and is more than capable of taking the scalps of our top two which we’ve already seen here. Looks a good contest to kick things off.
  8. I thought £15 for that was a bit daft as well to be honest so gave it a miss. Some clearly love their speedway more than I do
  9. He’s my concern too. We need more from him this time around simple as that. No bedding in excuses this year. Let’s hope he gets off to a good positive start on Thursday which could set the tone.
  10. https://ipswichwitches.co/raceday-preview-belle-vue-rowe-motor-oil-premiership-r1-h/
  11. With all due respect to Becker who is a decent rider, this change makes the meeting more interesting. We’ve been watching Becker for years now and know all about him, Wojdylo not so much after only a brief stint with Peterborough.
  12. Hawkins is one that does actually. He was constantly changing the riding order from meeting to meeting last season, but that looks like the order for Belle Vue on Thursday to start with.
  13. Emil Ellis King Rew Doyle Jenkins D Thompson the riding order. At least to start with.
  14. Plenty of rain again today but forecast is now a dry and mild couple of days ahead so the track should be good on Thursday and the boys can get plenty of laps in.
  15. For me yes. Nicholls though tbf guested at Foxhall last year and beat Doyle once and Emil twice and was great value!
  16. Hope so! We host Birmingham in a couple of weeks. Lindgren vs Doyle and Emil would be fantastic.
