  1. Speedway, football, or anything you care to mention. Suffolk does and always has, ruled over Norfolk. Must sting
  2. https://x.com/rhr_211/status/1793530638127304870?s=61&t=WGGG_bqEEeOH78cfmD9Reg Good ol Ritchie LOL

  4. Seems nobody knows..well someone obviously does but he ain’t telling!
  5. Let’s hope the track was packed down in anticipation of the expected rain! Dry all day Thursday so should be good to go..
  6. https://x.com/ipswichspeedway/status/1793185076722757755?s=46 Previews for Thursday meetings always go up on Tuesdays, but again they’ve been kept waiting and have had to put the preview up with question marks remaining.
  7. Reading the above Baggy I’d say you were unlucky NOT to get a result! Great effort especially with only three points coming from Musielak’s R/R rides.
  8. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/u12k15uws#?date=2024-05-23 Plenty of rain about over the next 24 hours, Wednesday then showery and Thursday not too bad. They’ve postponed meetings this year with far less rain forecast so it’s a wait and see with this one.
  9. Great effort from Lynn, far better than we managed! Poor from Lawson and Klindt, excellent from the others. Just a bit more from the two mentioned and they’d have taken something. Get Musielak back and fit at #1 and it gives the fans hope of a good rest of the season.
  10. Plus the fact the home crowd have been starved of much action. Expect a good away following too. Have to be winning this really, no excuses.
  11. He has to take it on the chin, accept it and crack on. It hasn’t just been this season, he was doing this last season as well the pit gate b0llocks. It seems more than one promotion has had enough of his antics and complained and who can blame them? They’re all trying hard to run a viable professional league only for this clown to undermine it all with his shenanigans. Hopefully he gets his head down, stops pi$sing about and cracks on with the rest of the season like everyone else. Nobody wants to see Lynn being pulled from the league and the ones who are getting messed around the most are his own supporters!
  12. Good. Right decision and puts this all to bed. Hopefully prevents any more nonsense from Chapman in the future although you never can really tell with him.
  13. It wasn’t called off incorrectly, and it wasn’t called off the day before the meeting. The issue people have had as you full well know is that Lynn called it off the day before the meeting when the forecast wasn’t all that bad. The forecast then looked worse on the morning of the meeting, if it had been called then, then nobody would have batted an eyelid.

  15. Still persisting it down in Ipswich. On to the next..
  16. Things definitely change speedy. I still have vivid memories of Siggy doing battle with Chris Morton at Foxhall on what was a skating rink! Those days long gone.
  17. Now our meeting is off I’ll be watching this. I hope Norwich do it! It’s an easy away fixture for me to get there when the mighty Toffees are in town
  18. Absolutely I agree he’s probably not what you need. Just that a few seem to be questioning even the lower order riders such as Pawlicki. I accept he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I’ve always liked him personally and when he has his machinery right and his head in the right place, he’s a fine rider.
  19. Could do much worse than sign Batch. Riding really well for Worky and on a sub 5 average. Could be an option for any team really on that average.
  20. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/u12b4ht3f#?date=2024-05-16 Forecast taken a turn for the worst overnight unfortunately. Looks grim. https://x.com/ipswichspeedway/status/1790994623151632464?s=61&t=WGGG_bqEEeOH78cfmD9Reg Off.
  21. 100% luck. Repeating myself, but forecasts change regularly. As you say the forecast this morning is now worse for Lynn today than it was yesterday, but it could easily have gone the other way and improved significantly. There’s just no way of knowing. Another example, our meeting at Foxhall this evening was under no threat yesterday whatsoever, a little rain about but nothing that would even slightly threaten the meeting. This morning, the forecast now for Ipswich is horrendous! This has to be in serious doubt now too. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/u12b4ht3f#?date=2024-05-16 Should always wait until the day of meetings for a more accurate forecast before calling meetings imo.
  22. Why would the meeting be rushed through to heat 10? If you start the meeting and there’s no rain during the meeting then you finish the meeting.
  23. An old cliche but you can meet a team 6 times over a season and get different results each time. Any earlier result means very little when it comes to the play offs. Belle Vue won both league meetings at Foxhall last year, but we walloped them by 18 in the play off semis. They finished top and were the best side in the league last year, we scraped in 4th but knocked them out in the semi finals. You just really don’t know when the play offs come around. Just have to make sure you get there first and foremost.
