CL said he didn’t want to go down the guests and R/R route, so with a fixture away to Sheffield a week on Thursday, I guess we’ll hear news of replacements before the weekend.

You have absolutely no chance

Strange what’s happened to Sundstrom really. A few years back when he broke through at Rye House he looked a phenomenal talent who looked destined to reach the top. He also showed his potential when we signed him up at reserve in the top flight. I haven’t followed his career since so no idea if he’s had a bad injury/injuries? But he certainly hasn’t reached the heights that I thought he would.

Same, not a scooby. Long since given up trying to work out averages and which is used

Would Cook fit?

http://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/chris-louis-talks-about-ipswich-witches-danny-king-injury-1-5576820 Says semi-permanent in both cases here. I guess as was alluded to earlier, it will surely depend on how well the replacements do as to whether either rider can reclaim their place back in the side when fit. Josh Grajczonek a possibility?

SGB championship fours 1st July redcar
Arch Stanton replied to SuperBear's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
A fully fit Danny King and our four is as good as any there. His place is in serious doubt however with an ongoing arm injury which will kill off our chances. -
CL is going to have to make a decision pretty soon on Danny King. If we’re going to have any chance of winning the league, then we simply can’t afford to have our pre season #1 struggling badly with an on going arm injury that is blatantly causing him major problems. His current average means there’s surely options out there to replace him.

Peterborough Panthers 2018
Arch Stanton replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Surely if the opportunity is there why not use it? Should never rest on your laurels when you have the chance to improve even further. Peterborough have been fantastic already and certainly surprised me and a fair few of the Panthers fans as well probably! use the points available to strengthen up (as long as a suitable rider is available of course) and Peterborough will have an outstanding chance of silverware again. -

Was going to say the same. Campton is good value around Foxhall normally. -
Peterborough v Ipswich - Sunday 17th June CS

Agree Baldy Heeps has been a huge disappointment and tbh, he can count himself very fortunate that neither us or Wolves have axed him yet. Had such high hopes after last year that he was finally fulfilling his potential, and then as I’ve said before he looked like he came back to the UK after being on a massive bender all Winter. Totally unprofessional. Hope Ulrich is ok it sounds nasty. -
Any ideas on a replacement? Can’t see too many options tbh.

Get well soon.

Aye, top top talent is Drew. Very much looking forward to following his progress over the coming years.

Ipswich Witches v Sheffield Tigers 7th June
Arch Stanton replied to Badge's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Maybe the enforced break for Nico has done him good and given him a clean slate to start all over again. Looked quicker last night than any of his previous meetings pre injury. He also demonstrated exactly why he was included in the team again this year. There’s been one or two on here questioning his involvement this season because his average was “too high” or not likely to be improved upon. We all want to see our team be successful and win things of course, but entertainment is the name of the game isn’t it? riders or rather racers, like Loram, Screen and Harris sadly seem to be a dying breed these days and although I’m not saying he’s as good as those, Covatti is cut from the same cloth. Not many around today who could have matched that stalk and pass of Wright around Foxhall as spectacularly as Nico did last night. When he’s on his game he’s terrific value. -

Personally I’d definitely stick with King at 5, Sarjeant at 2 and Heeps/Covatti at 3 and 4. -
Good to see Covatti get a couple of guest bookings though with our lack of fixtures and him only just returning from an injury lay off. Couple of decent confidence boosting scores as well so bodes well for us.

Crikey you couldn’t make it up close meeting -
Went to Mildy today. I know it’s Drew’s home track but he was on a different planet to Brennan today. After his good showing at Foxhall I was disappointed with Brennan. Failed to win a race. Kemp 20+1 max. The boy was different gravy.

That surprises me tbh. I thought the Showground would have been tailor made for his style and would become a big favourite. Shows what I know! -
Thought the same I must admit.. A little frustrating seeing Cam score paid 8 tonight for Wolves, including a 5-1 with Rory against Jason Doyle and Richard Lawson, and yet can only manage 3 from 5 rides against an average Berwick side.. hopefully a confidence booster for him though but he needs to start pulling his finger out for us and sharpish.
