  1. No is the obvious answer to that one. He rode with a broken scaphoid! He’s now had surgery to “put it back together” He may be a tough lad, but the manager and promotion need to be tough enough to take these decisions out of the riders hands at times. It seems madness to even consider him on Thursday to me. If he rides and rides poorly and it costs us a result, then those in charge will deservedly come in for a lot of flack IMO. We’re still in April and it’s a long season, why even contemplate taking that risk?
  2. Maybe that should be taken out of his hands? We can’t afford to lose our opening league fixture at home and it’s going to be tough enough as it is against a good Belle Vue side. On the face of it the result last night looks poor, but to put it in to context, just four more points from a clearly unfit Harris would have seen us take a consolation point.
  3. They never said any such thing. Someone on here said it.
  4. I’d say that almost certainly rules him out then. Nicholls a shoe in to guest then I’d have thought?
  5. Think we might nick another win here.. It is Lynn after all
  6. The thing is under Ged you always felt he had one eye on strengthening up whenever possible and he was never afraid to make changes. Under Buster? Who knows!
  7. Ahh thought perhaps it was name change. Thank you
  8. Anyone know what happened to a poster called “screamer”? Or maybe he’s still posting but changed his/her username? Can remember him being a very passionate Lynn fan a few years ago
  9. What you have to take in consideration, is that the Ipswich riders were specifically told to use the Leicester meeting to experiment and try different set ups in readiness for the real stuff hence the closer score It obviously worked
  10. Was going to say the same, Tungate and Harris probably similar stats wise, but you’d watch Harris over Tungate all day long.
  11. TBH I’m a bit confused with all the ifs buts and maybes over this. Think I’ll just watch heat 14 and leave all this voting nonsense to you lot.
  12. https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/not-just-another-meeting-for-the-fans-1-5971208 A good read for both sets of supporters to whet the appetite for tomorrow
  13. It was a throw away comment from Hawkins at the end of the meeting preview on the official site. Seemed just a harmless tongue in cheek comment to me, certainly nothing for anyone to get their knickers in a twist over.
  14. That’s where Hans is these days. He’s nowhere near the level of ten years ago. Peterborough need to sort out this Cook business sooner rather than later. Getting him to change his mind or getting a much better replacement than Summers with all due respect needs sorting pronto. That moves Bjerre back down to reserve and makes a big difference to both him, and this team. Need to get this signing right and quickly.
  15. Kind of makes the whole thing pointless doesn’t? If you’re gonna have your four best riders in the last two heats, does it really matter in which order? If you’re slightly weaker in one you’ll be slightly stronger in the other. Meh
  16. So here we go! Just like old times. And just like old times, a Witches win obviously
  17. Agreed. Worrying thing from Cam’s perspective was the quotes from Ritchie Hawkins that he took a knock to his “troublesome wrist”. Seems the lad is always going to have problems with that damn wrist! Little doubt that injury is/was a major factor in him not yet fulfilling his undoubted potential.
