  1. TBH I’m a bit confused with all the ifs buts and maybes over this. Think I’ll just watch heat 14 and leave all this voting nonsense to you lot.
  2. https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/not-just-another-meeting-for-the-fans-1-5971208 A good read for both sets of supporters to whet the appetite for tomorrow
  3. It was a throw away comment from Hawkins at the end of the meeting preview on the official site. Seemed just a harmless tongue in cheek comment to me, certainly nothing for anyone to get their knickers in a twist over.
  4. That’s where Hans is these days. He’s nowhere near the level of ten years ago. Peterborough need to sort out this Cook business sooner rather than later. Getting him to change his mind or getting a much better replacement than Summers with all due respect needs sorting pronto. That moves Bjerre back down to reserve and makes a big difference to both him, and this team. Need to get this signing right and quickly.
  5. Kind of makes the whole thing pointless doesn’t? If you’re gonna have your four best riders in the last two heats, does it really matter in which order? If you’re slightly weaker in one you’ll be slightly stronger in the other. Meh
  6. So here we go! Just like old times. And just like old times, a Witches win obviously
  7. Agreed. Worrying thing from Cam’s perspective was the quotes from Ritchie Hawkins that he took a knock to his “troublesome wrist”. Seems the lad is always going to have problems with that damn wrist! Little doubt that injury is/was a major factor in him not yet fulfilling his undoubted potential.
  8. Crikey what a complete mess! How people still prefer individual suits with bibs to team suits is beyond me. The fella on the right looks like he’s using a ten year old suit dug out of the lost property bin!
  9. Weather looks fine for Monday’s P&P so that’s handy. Riders can get a few good laps in and the new lads can gain some valuable experience of their new home track. Can remember the last few P&P’ have been a washout.
  10. If no changes were allowed during the season I’d agree with you, but I’d be hugely surprised if both Lynn and Ipswich finish the season with the team they started with. Both clubs will most likely have more scope than others for positive changes once new averages kick in. Then its a case of catch up and 4th place will do, then once there it’s game on. Seen it happen so many times before in both leagues. Lynn for example, could bring in Iversen mid season for a reserve and then its a whole new ball game. A few big away wins and you’re back in the mix.
  11. I don’t think we have a great team at Ipswich this year and I’m in agreement with the majority that we’ll struggle unfortunately. (Not stopping me looking forward to the season mind). But, I have to be honest Lynn is one fixture I’m confident of winning certainly at home at least.
  12. Well, fortnight today we’ll hear the roar of the bikes around the Heath again as it’s press and practice day. The season is nearly upon us and I’m really looking forward to it.
  13. So who IS sponsoring the Panthers this year? Looks the most expensive team of all three of Busters teams, but I guess it doesn’t really matter? Lynn have new sponsors, Ipswich have Tru Plant putting their cash back in, so I guess it’s all for one and one for all
  14. Maybe they had a close working relationship with Ged and were expecting that to continue? Would possibly add fuel to the existing rumour that Ged is no longer involved. Might have nothing to do with it of course but you have to wonder. Been one turbulent winter this one! Just seems like one balls up after another and we’re all waiting for next weeks instalment. Whats the odds that the next move is to release another “expensive” rider due to “unforeseen circumstances” i.e the withdrawal of a major sponsor
  15. Chris didn’t know who was in our group either did he
