  1. Think that was a tongue in cheek comment I don’t think any of us really think we’re going to win the title this year. All most of us wanted in our first season back in the top flight was to see some good racing, and to be competitive and so far we’ve succeeded on both counts.
  2. Well then it’s a crying shame there aren’t far more people like me then isn’t it. The sport would be much better off. I wont let a rider missing here or there or rules being tinkered with that to us outsiders, make little sense, put me off going to support my local Speedway team. Others feel differently, that’s their prerogative of course. Theres ALWAYS been all sorts of shenanigans going on in Speedway as far back as I remember, even in the “glory days” of the 70’s and 80’s! Some of them far far Dodgier than what goes on today.
  3. Sorry that makes zero sense to me. It doesn’t matter who the riders are, where they come from or their nationality. The current seven riders that are wearing Witches kevlars are representing my home town team, the team I support so of course they’re my team. If a rider or two are missing for whatever reason, whoever comes in for one meeting only and wears a Witches race jacket, will also be representing “my team”. We’ll agree to disagree.
  4. None of those will have a Witches race jacket/suit on though so I’ll save my money to watch the team I support
  5. Again unsporting nonsense. None of Wolves, Poole or Lynn managed to beat “that Panthers side” did they? We didn’t just win either, we stuffed you so yes, it was impressive IMO.
  6. Poole look stronger with those changes. Nicholls remains a track specialist and the Swindon fella was very impressive a couple of weeks back and seemed to love the place. Not really bothered about this one in all honesty, we have bigger fish to fry. More concerned about the current league leaders picking up another 3 points against Wolves on Monday
  7. Not sure if it was mentioned but well done Danny on a new TR last night too.
  8. Soon we could conceivably have two from KP, King and Bellego at reserve!
  9. BWD and Summers on paper SHOULD be a match for ours, especially on their own circuit. Makes our very easy victory all the more impressive.
  10. Neither Lynn or Poole managed a win here, and we’ve not just won but won convincingly with a big 4 points. We’ve started the season very very well it has to be said.
  11. Not much interest in this one it seems! Think it looks a good close battle myself. Tough to call
  12. I think Jake needs to invest in a set of golf clubs!

  14. I used to find the BBC forecast as accurate as any, but that was when they got their readings from the Met Office. Since they changed their source of meteorologist , they’ve been as useful as a chocolate fire guard IMO.
  15. I’ve been delighted with the standard of racing this season it’s been fantastic. Monday wasn’t as good and I wasn’t expecting it to be, day meetings are very rarely as entertaining. But, like you, I thought the racing was pretty decent and I’ve seen far worse. Whilst not loads over overtaking, there was plenty of good close battles with Bellego particularly getting stuck in.
  16. I did say on here yesterday Taps when I first entered the stadium, I posted that the track looked overly watered, heavy and grippy and I thought it would catch a few riders out early doors. Slick with no dirt, was certainly not what entered my mind whatsoever
  17. He’s unfit. His previous scores before injury proves the point.
  18. That’s down to Chris Louis. Harris isn’t fit we know that..
  19. Track looks well watered and grippy. Expect it to be tricky early on..
