The problem is that most clubs are loseing money so how can any club cut its prices.Keep the prices as they are and perhaps lose fans, drop prices a little would this bring back fans in their droves of which it needs to be viable i doubt it.So the truth is the sport is in big trouble.i for one will do my part and turn up every week and pay my money because i love speedway its up to the fans really do we want speedway do we pay our 16 to 17 pounds or are we going to walk away and let it die.Time will tell.

The whole point of my last post was how can Belle vue drop its prices when it is only 50p dearer than Rye house.I listed the teams to show the difference in the wage bill for each club so on gate takings after paying the riders which club makes more money. So if a prem team cant afford to drop its prices how can an elite team drop theirs when they have far greater running costs.Remember that they have had to cut costs to keep most of the clubs running so if i have to pay the same money for a little weaker league and put up with a change in the race format then so be it, The alternative is to keep it the same and after this season god knows how many clubs may have had to close their doors. At least they are trying to keep the league going and for that i thank them and will continue to give them my support by buying a season ticket.

My thoughts on this and other posts you have made on this subject.Belle vue charge 16.50 Rye house charge 16.00. Belle vue M Zagar top 8 G P rider C Cook the prem leagues top rider S Nicholls still a class elite league rider R Worrall a prem league number one M P Toft plymouths number 4 last year + 2 draft riders Rye house E Kennett an elite league 2nd string last yeat M Tresarrieu not good enougth to be picked as a double up rider J Bunyan not good enougth to be picked as a double up rider S Boxhall a nat league rider last year J Garrity an elite league draft pick L Bowen not much better quality than a draft rider S Lambert draft pick quality rider. Now considering the wage bill for the two clubs and the 50p difference in gate prices which club is ripping off its fans and needs to drop it prices to give better value for money for me the answer is SIMPLE what do you think.

I cant wait to see what the new race format is but that is my thing. But none of the people that i stand with at Belle vue come on this or any other forum or show any interest in the politics of speedway. All they want to know is who is in the team, have we got a team that will stand a chance this year,as they are fed up with finishing in the bottom 2.All they are interested in is a good night of speedway and hopefully a win they then go home happy and forget about speedway until the next meeting. So apart from us few on this and other forums i think most fans just like there team to win and take it for what it is 4 guys racing motor bikes for our entertainment.

Or perhaps jenga is going to pay himself the Royal Society of Pathetic Bullsh/ters lol.
-

-
Got a bite from Steve Shovlar lol.

So not as good on the tracks that you need a little skill and throttle control just better on larger tracks where a fast bike and the ability to hang on will take you far.lol
-
Fair point lol.I hope I have learned my lesson this is what happens when you reply without to much thought to a wind up post.

The Aces are a team that has the respect of other clubs fans because in their turn at the top they won the league 3 years on the trot with mostly home grown talent, they were never known as a team that used under hand tactics and they were never known as a team that bought their titles.

sorry to ask this on a 2014 thread but could I ask why was stef Nielsen dropped last year he seemed to be doing very well thanks for your time.
-
jenga(quote not working)Quoting Zagar,Nicholls and Worrall as a National teams top 3 makes your post look a little silly don't you think ?.(if sober)Not the best way to put your point over.

You been on the xmas sherry already jenga.

As long as you take the 3 point deduction that comes with it you are welcome to lend it

Hi National league fans sorry to but in on your thread.I am a Belle vue fan and was hopeing that I could pick your brains re Nielsen and Reade if anyone would be so kind as to give an opinion as to how you think as a pair they will fair against the other Elite league picks I was a big fan of the Colts in their 1 season in the Nat league but Nielsen was just starting out then and I cant remember seeing Reade so not sure he was riding then. Thanks in advance for your time and help.
-
From what I have seen of him he is better than any of our National league riders and with our proposed top 4 as long as he beats them he will be doing a good job and give him a few weeks to get dialled into our track and he will beat a few second srings as well.
-
I know that he is now a Rye house asset but you would think that with Belle vue helping with his development by having him ride a full season with the colts would mean something re the draft pick..Sour grapes I know but do the right thing Coventry and hands off lol.
-
Thanks screamer that puts my doubts to bed Zagar and Manzares it is then
-
Thanks for pointing that out Phil are you sure that Manzares can come in on a 3 with him being an American thought it would be higher(hope I am wrong again)
-
Heard that Howarth is not going to ride for Poole(to far to travel every week) so could Belle vue go all English. It seems to be a major part of their team building plans so far. King 7 46 Worrall 5 64 Nicholls 7 19 Howarth 4 28 Cook 7 40 31 93 Just a thought you never know.
-
Could anyone tell me did Belle vue sell Garrity to Rye house or is he still an asset ?.Thanks in advance.

An even better point skidder scrap my last post (quote not working).

Fair point all you need really is a race card.If all Elite teams adopted this policy over the suggested 20 meetings it would be a saving of 60 quid.At Belle vue the cost of a programme is in with the price of a season ticket if you do away with a programme and knock 60 pounds off the total cost you might get a few more fans intrested in buying one.
