  1. Yes i know. Reports at the time said that Oxford applied to join the Prem league . But were knocked back and it was reported that Harris had already signed for them. as i remember some link between Berwick and Oxford which at the time seemed to pee off a few Panthers fans.
  2. With Harris reportedly signing for Oxford .Could the management have moved quick and gone for both Ostergaard and Buzz leaving an Allen sized gap at reserve ?.
  3. So does Bjerre and Palin. Jorden would score a lot more points riding Belle vue every week than round Peterborough more pennies, and Brennan would score more in away meetings good mix. You never know. Ipswich had Rowe and kemp last season and its said that Wolves have Flint and kemp next year. Fricke, Batchelor, Bjerre, Wright, Kurtz. As the top five . We need a team that can ride the NSS well. If we get to the playoffs we need a team that can win big at home and give us a chance of a good lead for the away leg.I think said team would do that. It is silly season but you never know .
  4. Did not know this sight existed thank you so much its brilliant.
  5. First of all i feel i have to state that i am in no way a racist. We have a young black girl who lives next door who we have a good relationship with i pick up /drop off her 6 year old son at school when she has to go to work etc. But i do think that the snowflake/woke points of view often creates a problem when there isn't one and in a lot of cases makes things worse. Your post is a typical example of this. You have twisted things to fit your point of view. Your comment. (I could go on about it not being about black people being interested, its about being given a fair chance.) is in my opinion in this case B/S. First of all about Black people not being interested all you have to do to prove that this is the case is to look around the crowd at any speedway meeting and sadly you wont see many ethnic minority faces, you don't have to be given a chance to view a speedway meeting. Then there is a comment in a post from Beowulf a speedway fan of Indian decent who states that his own family take the micky out of him for his unusual interest. and that he says he is not typical of his generation. comments that indicate there is not much interest in motor sport from ethnic people straight from the horses mouth. Then there are numerous posts of people posting the names of numerous ethnic minority riders that have been given a chance as you call it .My point is for the reason posted above there is not much interest from ethnic minority people. But those that have an interest have been given the chance in the sport the odd few ie Lindback have done very well the others named have not done as well just like a lot of white riders . Then you mention a successful reigning world champion who is a black chap. If as you say ethnic people are not being given a fair chance how the hell did he become world champion without all the backing and support that takes . We have both read the same thread you have taken from it what you have wished to see and i have done the same life's all about opinions .But its not a fact that either one of us is right.
  6. With a top 5 of Masters ,Morris, Douglas, Becker and Worrall that leaves you with 3.67 for your number 6 plus your rising star.
  7. No they would not. If as rumoured S Worrall has been signed in place of Schlein that takes your team total to 40.56 so you would have to change one of last years team for a rider on a 1.56 lower average
  8. Yes i know .My point is. Is that the Extraliga must know about the extreme sports and do not put a stop to it yet they stop them riding in more than one other league so they have less chance of getting injured. So from a getting injured point of view what's the difference.
  9. Yet they only let them ride in one other league in fear of them getting injured,.Go figure .
  10. To me there are obvious words that are offensive and i don't use them. But i do find that these days someone will find offence in almost anything and everything to the point where i am not sure what i can and can't say anymore. I even thought twice about posting my views on here in case i offended someone with my point of view.
  11. Great news about time speedway had some good news .A very well done to all involved. I hope that all Comets fans get behind them with their support and make this track a great success they very much deserve it.
  12. Young Dane rode for Poole last season brought in about mid season.
  13. team 2 Fricke 8.81 Bjerre 7.75 Tungate 6.59 Musielak 6.21 Batchelor 5.57 Stewart/Palin/Basso 4.00 R/star Brennan 38,93
  14. Board so i will play along. Fricke 8.81 Kurtz 7 35 Tungate 6.59 S Worrall 5.94 Wright 5.92 J Stewart 4.00 / K Andersen 4.36 / Palin as what Ipswich did with Rowe. 4 point assessed rider like Basso etc R/Star. Brennan 38.97 with Andersen's average
  15. I was agreeing with you. King of the track said he is not doing Sweden. So pointed out that he was riding in Denmark so signed for 2 teams so no U K .
  16. Not 100% but i think that Klindt has signed in Denmark for Vojens
  17. Are the like of Brennan,Flint and Mountain still classed as rising stars in the Premier league for the 2022 season ?.
  18. Unless they bring 2 rising stars in i cannot see how they can keep a 35 5 team average. The league has 14 x 7+ average riders plus talk of Doyle,Fricke.Iversen and Thorsell etc wanting to come back that makes 18 x 7+ averages. Then there are 8 x 6 + averaged riders. So if you split them 2 x 7 + riders and 1 x 6 + rider per team that is at least 21/22 points per team leaving aprox 13.5 left for 4 riders with a good amount of 5 + averaged riders and not a big number below 5 .So to me unless they put a good few riders out of a Premiership spot to me the maths don't work.If they have 2 rising stars for eg belle vue could fit in Bewley Fricke both woralls and Wright under 35 points with British reduction. Also this leaves more riders to spread around any team/teams moving up.
  19. I am not talking of this years team the manager nailed it with his team choices and his tactical use of a high scoring reserve they well deserved to be champions. I am talking about keeping the same team( as mentioned by some Panthers fans} bar Pedersen and replacing him with a rising star {which seem the way its going } for next season. Without an experienced high scoring reserve next years team {as stated above{ in my opinion will not be anywhere near as powerful as this years. Not mentioning how effective an high scoring reserve through the whole season was. Lets just look at the 4 play off meetings for an example The high scoring reserves scored 46 points over the 4 meetings 9 of these points were from tactically replacing rising star rider Palin with said riders and if i am right were only used once as a R/R which resulted in a pointless ride. Which again in my opinion won you the league and play offs. So this explains my thinking as to why next years proposed team will be nowhere near as good as this years.
  20. If this team is possible under the new points limit .In my opinion i can't see them being the power house they were this season without a very high scoring reserve in every meeting.
  21. Its the way speedway is these days. A team can ride all season and finish top of the league with ease has one bad meeting in the play offs and after a full season of hard work wins sod all. In the GP a rider can finish on a 15 point max have a poor semi/final and not top score/ win the meeting. Same with the SON its just the way it is you just have to just get over it.
  22. Any chance day 2 could be posted on here was there to see it but would love to relive it again
  23. I had almost forgot the feeling of supporting the winning team it feels f##king awesome.Thank you boys for a great weekends racing. 32 years for a team GB win. 28 years for a Belle vue league win
  24. Only my opinion but we really need the track prepared for racing the last two home meetings against the panthers they have well out gated us for a draw and a win.If we have a track where our boys can race/pass we can take a lead to peterborough if not we could be in a little trouble again.
  25. I for one did not know it was on so a big thanks from me
