Whatever the results it will be a great joy to watch this (predicted) young Colts team progress over the season.I am looking forward to both the aces/Colts season ahead but at the moment the Colts are giving me more of a buzz for the coming season really looking forward to watching their talent grow over the season ahead.Roll on April.
-
Its not always the top riders that produce the best races in a meeting.I saw some really great races involving all the aces last season and some great races watching the colts. So for me most of the riders are worth watching.
-
They need to hurry up my wife is getting ideas on what she can spend my season ticket money on.

If i am right in saying that a Prem league team cannot sign 3 riders that ride for the same Champ team how can Belle vue fit in Richie when Bewley and Smith are said to be in the team all Glasgow riders. It would seem Belle vue have no choice but to leave one out. Rumour has it that its Sedgman and Berge but Worral and Berge fits under the points limit i know which pair i would have if the rules would allow it.
-
I heard that Starman had been promoted by the speedway star and was away advising the editor of the speedway star on the Belle vue article. On the subject of what will or will not offend Manchester city council.Being the diplomat that he is.
-
Then there is those who see to much that is not there making the situation much more of a problem than it is.
-
None of us know the facts. But we all have our own ideas of how things should have been done. The only fact i know is that GM and CM made mistakes and paid a heavy price. But they got the new stadium built and in the long run have given the Belle vue aces a future.Without them i would think that the Aces trying to run at the dog track would have folded a good few years ago.(how many new promoters would have been lineing up to take over the promotion at the dog track) So the way i feel is that i will always be grateful to them for saving the Belle vue aces.Thank you both.
-
Three quarters of the track was layed quite a while before bends 3 and 4 with no problems.Which I would think would have been inspected by DG and C M and they must have been happy with it as it proved to be fine why would they then think that the 3rd and 4th bends would be layed any different.Just a thought.

Cook could yet be our 3rd heat leader. At the moment Fricke is our highest averaged expected rider but the team has not been anounced yet we may sign a higher averaged no 1 who knows. So perhaps we should be comparing him with Kurtz again i know who i would want in my team.
-
Not every rider will be a world champ and a league needs riders at every leval.Seeing that both Auty and Howarth ended up with a higer average than Newman in last years Prem league useing your thought process what does that make him.
-
Cook 100% team man and the rider 99% of Belle vue fans would want to be the 1st rider signed every season.Gives 100% for the team in every race and never gives up. Kasprzak fans reaction when signed for their club in the past. Can be brilliant but would rather x had signed. Which rider will turn up this week will he let us down. When hes on it best rider on the track if not forget it.If he misses the gate he sometimes gives up and just pootles around at the back not even trying for what maybe an important third place point. So Kasprzak on his day can be one of the best riders in the world as a team man can he let your team down big time. Cook on the whole rider on rider not as good but can beat Kasprzak and any other top rider in the league. As a team man he will give you 100% every meeting there is no one better. Depends what you are looking for in a team member but for me its Cook every time.

Fricke has up to now only signed contracts in Poland and Sweden.
-
Could Zagar still be in the mix.?
-
As you say Fricke is the shining light and is going places, plus we have the 4th highest Elite league averaged rider in the league Craig Cook + ? thank you for your concern re heat advantages but i think we will be just fine. Just my opinion of course.

What ever happened last year was a disaster and maybe in time we will find out what really happened. But whatever happened i will be forever greatful to Gordon and Morton who's hard work over 10 years resulted in achiveing their dream and giving us Belle vue /speedway fans the best speedway stadium in the country.Belle vue had no future at the run down dog track and its looking like it cost them a good few quid to keep it running for 10 years and it was only a matter of time before we lost the club.It maybe would have been lost years ago without the dream of the new stadium to keep them going. Getting the stadium built has resulted in a good few people wanting to take on the promotion and keep the club running. So yes what ever was to blame they cocked up running the club in the new stadium, but their efforts in getting the stadium built in the long run has saved the club and given us a chance of a future be it under a new promotion.Lets just hope that the new promoters can run the stadium to its full potential and give the club a long future.
-
If a large number of Coventry fans think like this and will not put themselves out a little for a short time to help save their club then i fear that they may have to get to like watching their speedway from the comfort of their nice warm living room in front of the telly. If you don't let the promoters know you want it why would they plough money back into Brandon and maybe at a later date into a new stadium.Only my opinion but show them that you want it and will in numbers stand by the club.
-
If i was a Coventry fan and it was just for the short term i would put up with any cr@p and turn up to support them.If it gives them any chance of a future as a fan it is the only way i could do my bit to keep the club going. If the worst happens and the club goes to the wall at least i will know that i did the best i could to keep my club alive.

Well done to Max on winning the Aussie under 21 final with a 6 ride unbeaten performance.
-
Don't leave Peter Collins off your list. All 3 aged 17 in their 1st season in the 2nd division averaged Collins 9.80 Ward 9.71 Lee 9.08.All 3 are on the greats list.
-
I agree no 5 + average rider will score what jacobs will do on a regular basis at Belle vue,and any other 5 + average rider will not score to well away either so if we need a 5 point rider for the team then Jacobs would be my pick. But if we have nearly 7 points left i would give Berge a try.
-
Not what you said in an earlier post quote(I have my own opinion if people don't like it don't reply.)
-
We all have our own opinions and when we post them on here we expect people to reply back with their own opinion.Guess what they might not share the same opinion as you this then leads to a debate on the subject its what we all come on this forum for.Not to wright a post and get upset if people reply and do not agree with you.

Mr Watson i know that you cannot write a comment on this forum re whats going on at the club but i am going to write a comment if you press like it would put the riders moving on rumours to bed. The rumour that riders have been told to look for another job is B/S.

I would feel really bad asking Starman to come all that way when i could just nip to W H Smiths in either Cumbria or Leicester and pick my own up.
