Opens a can of worms if an asset is allowed to come in for the final. Even if all the riders were fit with Woffinden on a low 7 point average Adams might have thought about hitting Schlein with a hammer if that is what would take to get Woffy to ride in the final.Or a bad case of hemeroids etc. On a serious note it would not be fair because in the same position most other clubs don't have a rider in Woffys class as an asset so the guest rule covers every team and every team is then in the same boat.

No team speedway no me.Individual meetings are ok every now and then but team speedway is what gives me that buzz.Theres nothing like your team having a good season.Following a team is what keeps my interest up for the full season its where every heat really means something.Team speedway also keeps my interest up during the closed season whats the points limit who are we going to sign who are other teams signing etc.Without that there would be nothing of any interest going on through all the cold winter months. TEAM SPEEDWAY HANDS DOWN FOR ME.

There lies the problem these days as a speedway fan I would wrap up warm and be glad to see a few more meetings before the long winter. But I guess far to few fans feel the same these days.

With a team average of 47.44 you are going to lose a big hitter for next year who will it be.
-
Does it mater where you are based.where ever he was based this year he still rode in Britain,Poland and Sweden. So what makes you think he will not do all three next year if he is based in Sweden. He will still have different bikes for the British league.

So about as much idea as me lol.

Any idea what Drabiks assessed average would be ?.

I have calmed down a little now and see that this must be BSPA decision and has forced Belle vue into this situation. From what I have seen the Belle vue management has a great passion for the National league if they had a choice there is no way they would have screwed over there own Colts team. For me its the BSPA who have distain for the National league by not even taking it into consideration when re-arranging the Prem league meeting. So for you to hope that both my teams get a thumping imo is a little wrong as I think the Belle vue management had little choice in the matter.I am hopeing that both my teams can against all odds progress into the next round and kick the BSPA in the nuts. I agree with this comment it would make great sense with the change of date to now let shuttleworth ride for the colts and use any other 2 pointer instead it is unlikely that either would score many points and make all this a little less of a farce. If we use R/R for one rider i suppose the big question is are the Colts allowed 3 guests for this meeting anyone know the rules on this matter ?.

Yes Tungate has ability he has proved in the past that he can score points at Wolves. So does that say Tungate has suddenly gone crap or that of late that the track is crap and not a patch on what it once was.? -
Who ever is to blame has really pissed me off I will be getting a refund on my Wolves ticket in the morning(I have not missed a home meeting in years) as I will not pay for a meeting that my team has little or no chance of winning because of the stupid way the sport is run.More so I cannot attend a meeting that says sod the Colts and could destroy any hopes of the Colts making their final.

I am really pd off that the Belle vue management have agreed to rerun this meeting on Friday. I have spent a lot of money on not missing a home match and a few away matches for both the aces and the colts this year.Watching both teams reach the play offs has been brilliant but one silly decision could blow any chance of both teams winning anything this year and makes me think what's the point of supporting both teams all season. First the Aces.I know Wolves are missing Thorsell but with a 13 point lead and R/R using 4 of their top 5 riders as replacements round Belle vue I do not think their return will be much different to what Thorssell would have scored he does blow hot and cold round the NSS 3 wins and 2 last places in the PLRC proves my point. But imo with 13 points to catch up Fricke is not replaceable round Belle vue no replacement rider(if allowed) on his average will score anywhere near as many points and R/R will not replace his score as we cannot use Bjerre and a reserve will have to take one of his rides. It would have been bloody hard with Fricke but without him it makes it very unlikely that we will progress to the final. Now the Colts which Ps me off the most. They have finished top of the league and if I am honest they look for the league they are in a better team than the Aces and I had massive confidence that they could win the play offs. But now all this could come crashing down as on the same night the Colts are in a play off semi final at Lakeside. We are already without Smith and payne but with a good guest and R/R I think we could overcome this and hold them to a catchable score. But now because of this silly decision to ride both meetings on the same night we will now be without Bewley and Shuttleworth as well that's our top 4 riders missing for a play off semi final crazy. As I said one stupid decision could destroy a whole season for both teams. This is no slight on Wolves at all it just how this decision has made me feel and as I said I am more pd off with the affect this decision has had on the Colts as if they and my support of them all season does not matter.

The Polish and Swedish league season start after ours and finish before ours its as if they know its a summer sport. As you say if they got on with the season we could finish earlier and perhaps miss some of this weather. Ps and get the knockout cup done and dusted before the playoffs start the final is still not in the fixture list yet.

I would think the more teams the lower the points limit.

I suppose I must be , I have been to NSS and seen it on Tv , never seen anything I would call great racing , lovely stadium and If you like watching the the person who spent most at the tuners half a lap ahead I suppose it would seem great to you ,or then again if you like to see the home team winning meetings by big margins great , if you want to see skillful speedway racing you need to go elsewhere , If you prefer a meeting full of track induced rider mistakes and 10 fallers then yes you must be mad. And most of the European tracks must have crap speedway as well. -

No complaints about the result it is what it is full stop. But I m o that track gives Wolves a massive advantage in any 2 legged speedway competition. Not just last night but whenever I watch a meeting there a hell of a lot of riders seem to struggle there and a lot of points are picked up by riders making mistakes. I will put money on it that Swindon fans want Belle vue to go through for that very reason. -

In my mind there are no favourites at this stage. Both teams on paper look very even. Its all about how things go on the night. The weather how the track is some will score better if its dry others will score better if it is wet getting bike set ups right etc.We have a good record at Wolves but look what happened in last years final. Last night Bewley was on fire Worrall looked like he was on a lawn mower on a different night things could be very different. so we have 2 very even teams I for one cannot pick a winner at this stage its all down to what happens on the night/nights and this is what makes it a cracking contest may the best team win. -
I don't know anything interesting for next year but as a Belle vue fan Aces and Colts if everything goes well I still have 5 could be 8 home meetings to watch this year so not bored yet. I will think about next year when this one has finished.
