Dont think any of posters blame Tom Topinka, he is a great guy, fully deserving meeting. Just that Ben Meeting normally starts a season and I just wonder if the Committee behind Tom meeting could have held it later? But maybe not?

It is a shame that some of the 'stars' could not commit it seems to Ben Meeting instead and that is nothing against Topinka who fully deserves this but maybe after Ben opener?

An excellent posting, Backless, some good points made. Yes you correct the Topinka organisers should have ensured his meeting was after Ben traditionally the opener. Mr Acroyd has been quiet so far on this but I would imagine inwardly he is fuming!

I would imagine given the type of meeting this is there would be no charge?

See fixtures out now? Couple nice Summer trips for Bandits, Ipswich then Scunthorpe early August and Leicester and Rye House Bank Holiday weekend. Shame Plymouth ride same night as Somerset or that could have been another on a Friday and Saturday?

Looking at this I think riders riding in Topinka meeting and then Lindgren meeting will not travel to Berwick in between. That could mean several top boys opting out of Ben Meeting.

I think the two meetings Friday 8th and Sunday 10th will impact on the normal season starter the BEN MEETING?

Yes Everytime I check Berwick page it seems this person normally has a gripe about something? There can always be matters which people are unhappy on, that way of world but criticism must surely be constructive not as per Robin H mostly destructive it appears?
