  1. In fairness, normally decent when Newcastle v Berwick but you cant see past home win.
  2. I think he is only a 5 point rider (unless he got average from couple years ago) so he would not be at No 1. Decent reserve if his score against Dudley is anything to go by.
  3. Sadly I think the days of Polish riders in PL are no more so that would rule the likes of Burza, Rempala out.
  4. Will Berwick run though is the question. I dont think Polish riders can race in PL now unless on ACU Licence and give up Polish commitments? It was something to do with T Piszcz at Birmingham a few years ago.
  5. Yes for some strange reason it would appear only known to themselves (while other countries honour it and top guys ride in it) European senior or Under 21 events not recognised by BSPA! Maybe one day they will rise like a phoenix from the ashes!
  6. I see Somerset have taken over as league leaders although technically it means little as Newcastle found in 2012. However Rebels seem to have peaked at the right time so this will be a real tough one for Berwick.
  7. We have often crossed swords but a really good post from you on here. Well said and all best to Ricky from all fans
  8. He is Presenter D McLeary and S Hayward do announcing? 12 what? Decibels Or are you just being your sarcastic self Its hardly his fault! Newcastle in same boat with Lindgren tonight. If they dont do as told and ride in Sweden they will be banned for sure by the Swedish lot. 2012 was different I feel. GB clubs had preference unless fixs altered after season started. Did Berwick not hit that trouble at Sheffield with Alden.
  9. I think it would depend on Smith and Longtrack? Agree with other two and add Mr DyerMaybe worth persevering with Paul Starke at reserve as he is on up despite I see no points last night Think fans like to see a young up and coming team with plenty flair? How much would they enjoy Barker at Berwick? On current averages from BSPA site Barker , Bellego, Dyer, Starke, Wethers at 33.31 leading just over 9 for two spots.
  10. North not in Tigers until Sun 28 July Any win is a good result folks. Not there but fair play to Glasgow who seemed to make a match of it. I saw them at Somerset 10 days ago and they did well there too.
  11. Thank you but must admit not the wiser! Berwick no doubt will hope the football game does not go to extra time and penalty kicks!
  12. There is little doubt this lad is a good rider but reading his comments in last weeks Star hitting out at other riders says he needs to still grow up.
  13. Yes As I speak Polish and Russian I do know him from my time over there working Nice Lad There is personal constructive opinion and there is constant moaning and griping. Sadly most Berwick fans on here fit the last bit.
  14. Going by reports he is in at Berwick.Do you know him personally like? You should go to another club and read their press releases (most clubs that is) they simply dont bother issuing them at all. Just be thankful your team put them out twice a week and stop griping, you and emali! or whatever his or her name is.
  15. Even more annoying for Berwick fans I imagine is that their home season looks set to end on 31 August (late Oct last season)In his notes in programme last week John Anderson said they would not run challenge matches as they were a 'recipe for disaster' So given that the play offs look out of question now the last meeting could be the annual Tyne and Tweed match v Newcastle?
  16. You seriously have to wonder given the way the sport is just now?
  17. The fact that Cook was going in too hard and caused the domino effect meant he was to blame and the Referee should be brave enough to make the call.
  18. I am what you would call a neutral who is very concerned about Speedway in general and yesterday (Heat 11 apart) did nothing to help.
  19. Sadly she gets too many of these wrong as witnessed over the seasons. Cook was without doubt the guilty rider and took the others out where upon Bellego had no option but hit into Tungate. I remember a meeting at Leicester when she excluded Gjedde of Berwick when he was yards away from the Lions Russian who slid into the fence. It cost Berwick a win from memory.I appreciate meetings are passed around among referees but surely one of the top senior FIM oifficials should handle these? PS Take a look at who will Referee PLRC in due course!! we wait with bated breath!! They would of course!
