Correct me if wrong? Is Saturday 10th not final meeting of season?
-
To be honest Arson, Lewis Rose has been such a key member in your team and will be a miss, even if Morris is at reserve. He okay but can he score as Rose has? I fancied Newcastle for title given their performance at Somerset. Maybe it down a little with Rose missing? Key will be this Sunday against Rebels and a good guideline on how it will possibly pan out.

You fear for your club even making 50 years. So sad. Your club needs a sugar daddy sponsor or backer like many other Premier teams. Your fans question on teams bringing in riders? Nice when sponsors can simply write a cheque and provide funds. I dont think you have that luxury in Berwick. Support what you have or you may not have. And despite changes Peterborough still couldnt win tonight.

Berwick V Workington (27 August) 7pm

Fair enough Might be best they say at 7pm then not tapes up That way we all win Trouble is when you start making announcements and counter announcements it simply snowballs. I think only announcement Berwick fans need is the progression into 2017 no matter who in charge? I think fans wont care a jot about folks falling out, they simply want their speedway and that same all over country. -
Whatever problems there are your club is more important than it appears the petty rivalries seemingly going on to win points. Then you find a reply comes in then a counter reply which does no one any favours.Important thing is your team moves forward whoever runs it. Is it not 50 seasons coming up?

Berwick Vs Glasgow 27/7/16
Catch Me If You Can replied to allthegearbutnaeidea's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Never saw that one coming! Didnt expect a win but like the early League Cup meeting a close one. To be fair over the years Berwick have suddenly found themselves on the odd occasion getting a drubbing at home. I remember Newport getting 60 once at Shielfield? Then heavy defeats over the years to Somerset, Edinburgh and last season the Cup match v Rye House. Oh dear! -
Hi all Not seen many meetings this year but watched this on TV. To get away from all the usual doom and gloom, glass half full, sad merchants who come on the forum (not picking on you Shads just that reply is linked in) I must say I was impressed with Austrian Gappmaier. A real bolt from blue. I dont suppose he has done any league racing? Racing certainly got better later in night and Heat 15 was scary at times.Anyhow you can all watch Iceland win Euro now!!

Yes and Pijper and the lad Hummel took nasty ones too! So suddenly the Redcar match becomes a lot tougher for Berwick! -
It on your team Facebook only Juniors training?
-
As he lives in that neck of woods the wise money would be on move to a track he normally goes on-Rye House

Glasgow V Berwick Sunday 17th April
Catch Me If You Can replied to Pogo1's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Can fully see where the Berwick Manager was coming from! He was surely looking to get enough points under his belt ahead of the last race. No doubt he and many others did not expect Pijper to race last in his RR heat! -
Redcar Vs Berwick 24/3/15
Catch Me If You Can replied to allthegearbutnaeidea's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
By sounds of it and comments on Berwick facebook, Pijper far from well so it seems he did ok? Also Mellgren and Alden struggling with some sort of knocks? So I imagine Berwick simply ran out of steam. Also a fit and racing Jorgensen would have got double figures as per usual at Redcar. -
Premier League Predictions 2016
Catch Me If You Can replied to SomersetBlue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Maybe optimistic on Berwick top but I think they could surprise a lot? I honestly dont get the hype on Glasgow being top in lot of predictions as no where near enough a balanced team like for instant Newcastle? -

1 Berwick 2 Newcastle 3 Workington 4 Sheffield 5 Somerset 6 Peterborough 7 Edinburgh 8 Glasgow 9 Scunthorpe 10 Plymouth 11 Ipswich 12 Rye House 13 Redcar League seems wide open. Any one of seven or eight teams can win it -
Correct me if wrong? Sure I read somewhere earlier in year after all hoo hah with Border Agency Berwick cancelled their Sponsor Licence along with several others so they could not even think of bringing in a new colonial
-
R Worrall off to Glasgow it seems. Lewis Kerr, Ipswich?? Think you could be getting Mr Kus?
-
One of Barker, R Worrall or Roynon perhaps
-
Rumours Midlands way Roynon maybe heading North?

Plymouth 2016
Catch Me If You Can replied to torpointfanatic22's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
More likely north of the Border. -
My Scunny friends desperate to keep Pijper. Finished second in their averages and seems was excellent on away trips, holding them together at times. Rode well as guest for Berwick last season and Longtrack aside would do a very good back up job in middle? Some Scunthorpe scores away were impressive including 15 at Rye House, 14 at Newcastle and plenty 8 and 9 away returns.

Another plus I suppose, no loan fee. See he was back racing again in Sweden late season and doing ok?
