Me !!! Not sure how I’m going to get through this meeting

After being at Rye House yesterday and witnessing how lack lustre it was there it really made me realise what a travesty it would be for us to lose Speedway in Workington The Workington Speedway Trust is still alive and kicking we can all be part of saving our Speedway . £500 can sound a lot but just think it could be 200 people putting £100 in, 100 people putting £200 , if we lose Speedway this time I fear it will never come back ..what an awful thought !!

What a place !! Awful viewing , awful track ,that monstrosity in the middle of it and more life in my little finger than the crowd last night , no atmosphere whatsoever for a grand final . Should have been called at heat 11, that ref needs to get herself on a Speedway bike see if she could have rode it 10point lead tonight for the Hammers ...is it enough ?? Mmmmm

Yep I agree why could not have been last night ? A Grand Final and the shine taken off it fighting against the weather ...currently we passing Peterborough and pretty wet !

Exactly the same , infact last season his van was being escorted out after his usual shenanigans shouting abuse at us out the window

So I finally got to meet the infamous Ironscorpion .. It wasn’t a gate and go track , more that the Scunny riders were too far behind the worky boys to even try and pass , lol. We sit directly looking onto the tapes and Rasmus definitely got Garrity on the line , but hopefully some would have bought the DVD to confirm it . A couple of the Witches are off to Rye House tomorrow so hopefully our spells will work there as well

Garrity always acts like he’s on something, he’s an absolute liability on and off the track ....you would think he would learn as every season he sidelines himself ends up injured ..his behaviour is uncalled for , shouting and swearing at young kids ...Nice We were talking to some Sheffield fans at Scunny, very interesting stories about him !

Been a few seasons since I’ve been to Rye House , so let’s hope the showers are kind and fly over , long way to come for no Speedway ! We are used to jumpers up in arctic Cumbria I would imagine it will feel quite tropical . Our boys need to keep it close if they can ,be chuffed with 10/12 . My nerves are shattered having to pull back 18/28 points Stay safe guys we will be there cheering you on

WOW !!!! What an amazing night to be a Comets Supporter, it has to be the best night I have had in my 10years going to Speedway The lads wanted it so much and from the get go gave 110% to get us the win. The 18 points wiped out by heat 8 , I knew we had what it takes to get the win . To see Laura, Jacko and Steve's faces after heat 14 was truly amazing, finally something for them smile about after everything they have done for Workington Speedway . Commiserations to Scunthorpe your guys put up a good fight and were really gracious in defeat , we were just too strong on the night Unbelievable result !! but its time to start believing as we now enter another 2 finals , you can do this boys I know you can and we right behind you starting tomorrow with that long trip to Rye House #believe #mightycomets

Really feel for you with injuries sustained ..maybe if our fixtures weren’t screwed up mid season we all wouldn’t have been trying to cram all the main meetings in , in the last few days . Thanks for your best wishes I really hope we get some silverware for the guys who have fought tooth and nail to get us there , but hey .. the 3 teams they tried to screw over where 3 in the top 4 now that’s karma for ya

Lakeside and Peterborough have been racing each other since September !!! 3 Finals, 3 trophies , season doesn't finish until 31st we have qualified as asked not Workington's fault others haven't . I'm sure if Workington won , Lakeside would want a shot at the other trophy or vice versa . A lot of blood,sweat and tears to get to these finals why just award them all ? And a chance for Workington to get bigger crowds when we really need them . You all might have the great thought of coming to the tapes in 2019 unfortunately we don't have that guarantee .....

No chance was there 700 on Sunday !

A very tough meeting for our boys , Scunny have 4 potential no.1's in their team, stronger without Auty and when we met them in the league we had Dan and Ty, but as our boys have showed its not over til the fat lady sings Lets hope we don't have the ever parading liability doing his show moves all meeting keep him away from boys you know what a risk he is !!

Shut Up !!! You really think Peterborough would have pulled 22 points back !! Alas this farce between P,boro and Lakeside carries on , we have done everything asked , rode on off-nights with another off-night coming up this Thursday to run a final , would have been running tonight to get the rain-off from Saturday in but Lakeside refused to return having reserves at Work or some excuse So we sit and wait further for this shambles to get sorted out while Peterborough think they should be awarded the trophy, Lakeside doing everything in their power to get the finals ran at the Arena so their massive home advantage will see them lift the cup....Not a bit of wonder Speedway in on its ar*e . If you win something it should be on merit not trying to screw everything to gain the advantage its an absolute joke

Gutted for Ty forecast looks okay on Met office let’s hope this drizzle does one ! And the stomach starts churning last Sunday was bad enough it’s fantastic to be a Comets fan at the minute but very stressful , lol !! Best of luck boys we right behind you , let’s start the treble

The amount of rain we had over the 36 hours was unbelievable...we were both lucky to get any Speedway on at all on Sunday so no need for shaking of fingers the clever ar*e , the one who hides behind his avatar , brought the tracks up . Wind must have changed Mason was bloody flying in the Worky match
