Berwick are my Dark Horses this season.....no pressure on them , an even 1-7 with a good reserve all season as Garcia and Etheridge/Gappmeir can swap places , has all the recipes of a successful team, you only need to look at us last season !! Shame you didn't attend in 2018 then when Workington Comets scooped the board and won the treble and everything on offer in Speedway , huge crowds to see them do so So forgive me for not getting over enthusiastic about a FC playing a Sunday League division let alone in a Stadium that holds 8000, laughable !!! Compare that to a winning Speedway Team racing on bikes with no brakes ......I know whats much more exciting As for the "little" interest its more the financial side that is stacking against Workington , so stick to what you know...in Cumbria we call that 'Nowt' !!

If Berwick carry on from last season I think they will be up there with the so called big guns. Missed out on the playoffs by a point last season , built a bit like we were last season , very even throughout . Can't see Newcastle being any threat for them tomorrow

Crazy and most annoying thing is they are planning to rip up the track, spend god knows how much for Workington Red's Football who I think have been relegated to a "Sunday League" who will probably scrape in around 100 crowd (and that's optimistic) . Complete Joke

You seem to forget those little words called 'friends' 'pals' which I know some of us Worky fans are with Rasmus and have been for quite a few years, maybe old codgers like your good self don't partake in Facebook Messenger , Snapchat, Instagram you know communications, the wonderful world of social media ?? Thought not . I won't go into details the conversations on here , I don't blame Rasmus , he's a young man making a living he was bound to grab that massive carrot , in fact been on his hols lately too so possibly only half of it left so as for your rumours crap , quashed that one too ...Now onto to our youngest rider , again close friends , he went to school with my daughter , know the family really well, a massive carrot but decided to shun the millionaires and stay loyal to his home town and fans . You have your team and we have ours , it is what is and deep down even you know why your promotion get on everyone's t**ts ..
