  1. We have Rene to no 1 for August with the new averages and Richard to no 5 , thats it
  2. Congrats Plymouth a well deserved win , helped along with a great guest at no 1 and a few e/f's for the Comets. Mikkel Bech looks a rider for the future reminded me a little of Kildemand. For us a bad night at the office time to re-group and onto next week, the play-offs is the place to be , it's anyone's from there look at Scunny last season who would have thought they would end up as champions , but with a strong top six we really need to do better than last night , onwards and upwards Good luck at Glasgow today Plymouth with our very own Richard Lawson at no 1 for you ;-)
  3. Hallelujah , someone seems to have got Little Miss Innocent down to a tee
  4. This will be a cracker !!! Not sure which way it will go and with Doyle back , I will go for a narrow Newcastle win with the rebels taking a point
  5. Phew that was too close for comfort !!!! Somerset deserved their point they were very good opponents and nice too see their small group of fans on 2nd bend applauding both teams after heat 15. The fight for playoffs is so close so when you do get there you are gona need to have your 1-7 all firing, feel sorry for Millsy but he really is a big concern now, 3 points fri, 1 point last night beaten by a NL rider again ,Ashley has no back up and on Chris's average we could surely replace him. I know it's his machinery but maybe best for both parties it must be costing him more than he is earning . Not sure what it is with Richard but his bikes don't look a patch on when he had is Dad as mechanic , at the start of the season was Rich was nigh on untouchable round DP, out the starts and gone , not nice to see him ride like last night , although booing him after his last ride was a bit harsh from his own fans , can't be turning on our own riders !! Well done Rene and Kyle that heat 15 was amazing , didn't think we could do it especially with Morris in it but my god did our boys do us proud , COME ON THE COMETS :-)
  6. Mmmm not so sure, apparantly the track is size of a polo , can't remember us ripping up any trees down there. BTW it was my other half on Sunday at Peterborough talking about TaylorJ to you, he said he didn't think you knew who he was and probably thought he was some weirdo
  7. Good luck Boys, not our favourite track such a huge difference in size to the big DP , be happy to ###### a point Come on Comets !!!!
  8. Complete shambles and farce, 5.5hours for a meeting, not enough medical cover, start tapes hadn't been tried hence needed replaced, £6.00 for fish & chips and £3.75 for a small glass of wine , you could go on !!! As for the Ref another story.... what a huge shame for what is usually a good day out . Congrats to Edinburgh , can;t have been many supporters left by that point to congratulate them
  9. Please read your last 9 words, you think you are such a clever arse , I did read what you wrote !!
  10. Mr Know it All,you really do talk garbage, so riders fall off in PL more than in EL because they are not as good as EL , Mmmm Darcy Ward, Chris Holder, Tai Woffinden, Freddie lindgren, Kenni Larsen, Linus Sundstrom should I go on , and as for your "lack of skill from Worky" comment you really are something else
  11. A solid team performance from the Comets, after Graveson nearly took Tero to the fence he scored nothing , a bit of karma there ;-) ,Edberg looks a really good reserve but thought the Lions would push us further nothing special there tbh, We are the Comets, well done guys !!
  12. We didn't blow anything , you had the luck on the night , before last night you lot thought you were home and dry and I'm just pleased we made you work for it, we had no riders in heat 14 which IMO was the nail in the coffin !!
  13. Take a look at heat 14 , 5-0 to Somerset , Lady Luck on their side, we were big under dogs tonight and I'm chuffed we took the Aussie select side to the brink , well done guys , KOC, LC, no one remembers who wins ,it's the League that counts
  14. Good Luck Boys, stay safe, can only see Somerset progress through , but you never know , will depend who is riding for Somerset. The sun looks as if its out down there, lets hope they have the track staff on a tight leash this time Come on the Comets
  15. Not whinging merely replying to Zodiak who implyed I was a nasty piece of work , we sit in same place every week so see no reason why we should have moved, I believe a few people me around communicated with him after the meeting Thanks for that , we all like banter but he took it a bit too far
  16. Quite the opposite really, just can't stand people like the fat guy near us, I wasn't the only one sat there there was around 10/12 of us who endured him all meeting. I didn't stay to watch heat 15 as I knew once he started after that there would be something said, which by all accounts there was , by the other Comets fans sat around me. I took myself out of the situation , but I stick by my comment he was being a dickhead I was the same TaylorJ after the meeting Lord Lucan took myself off to the bar before heat 15 as I knew something was going to kick off so wasn't involved in any of it
  17. You weren't there Julie ;-) so really don't think you can comment can you !! If that's what you lot do down there thank god am a northerner
  18. The track was different, yet again, it's different every bloody week ! Slick the under statement nothing on the outside for passing and dry as a bone. The Witches deserved their win better team on the night and their reserves played the biggest part whereas it showed last night where we are weak. Big thanks once again to Micky Dyer, really hope he is Comets colours next season ;-) . Onwards and upwards, apart from Tero and Rusty the other lads had an off night , a bad night at the office. Oh nearly forgot to mention the horrible big fat ippo fan who was sat to the right of us in the grandstand stand who insisted to turn round to us whenever they won jeering, shaking his fists and pulling some delightful faces, one word dickhead!!!!
  19. Hey Baldyman make yourself known at the 50/50 stand near the entrance , more than happy to say hello , we're a friendly bunch us Cumbrians ;-) . I'll be the rose between two thorns tonight , lol :-) . Stay safe boys , Come on the Comets !!
  20. Fair play to the track staff to finally get the meeting on with the state of the track, thought we were getting sent home at one point. £16 and £2 for a programme very pricey, luckily was worth it Well done boys well deserved 4 points . A little tip to the bears fans, when your team get a 5-1 or a heat win a little bit of encouragement wouldn't go a miss to your riders , hardly a squeak when your lads won a heat Come on the Comets
  21. At present forecast a dry day for Saturday , looking forward to this I missed the last Ippo KOC match where we proceeded to the semis
  22. Coming over on the supporters bus to cheer the Comets on . Hoping for a good close meeting with 13 riders ending in one piece , Redcar are on form at the mo but hoping for a sneaky point back to Worky . Good luck boys say safe
  23. Well another Monarch crawls from under their stone ......
  24. Yep right on cue 7.05pm tippling down here in Worky, bloody british weather, its June !!!!!
