Sad news for all at Sheffield Speedway, only 12 months ago the fans at Workington knew only too well how that feels. Hopefully a buyer will come along and turn it around just like our new promotion have. Such a good Stadium with good facilities. Fingers crossed

You are right the weather in Worky doesn't exactly look great for Monday and with heavy rain forecast all day Sunday will the track hold out , Worky and Redcar/Leicester will first choice without a doubt, Ippo beat us home & away on league so we will nailed on favourites for them to choose, tbh Edinburgh is our graveyard so them finishing 3rd would be better

To be fair we had no rain in Workington until after 4pm yesterday showers everywhere else but not here, sun came back out again taking it to well after 5pm before the heavier showers, fans and riders well on their way by then so no option really than to go ahead with the meeting

Wouldn't mind a trip over to support this meeting, so long as Worky don't have a match , fantastic idea a great effort by both teams promotions #PrayForRicky

Will be a very interesting meeting tonight, Cookie will be all out to score his usual max, hopefully Ash can carry on his good form from Saturday , and maybe Millsy will surprise us and have a better night . Well never expected that draw, well done Worky sounds as if we were really up for it . Edinburgh on Monday then the playoffs, still reckon we will one of the first to get picked but anything can happen don't write the Comets off just yet ;-) !!

Having another look at the league table and its looking pretty scary as to who will get in playoffs for 5th and 6th, if we get nothing at Rye (most probs not) then we really need Newcastle to beat Leicester on Sunday at Brough park, otherwise the pressure is on for Mondays meeting against Edinburgh at home , nothing less than a win will do !!

Rye House will get all 3 points for this match, Comets very rarely do well round there. Picking up the 3 points at home on Monday against Edinburgh should see us through to the playoffs . Stay safe boys

Wouldn't right off Ipswich or Newcastle either time will tell , lets just hope I will be with either of the three OMG we weren't in the final of the Pairs Cliffeboy so wasn't ours to lose Barney Rebel, last time I counted you will have 7 riders in the team for the league so yes the tractor will be your 8th

Who would have thought last season Scunny would go on to win you lot ? Mmmmm really hope we or Redcar would be able to come and bite you right on the backside and chuck egg all over your faces , you really think this time you have it all tied up and sorted , yes I don't think we can get to the final but I sure as hell will be cheering on whoever get along with Rebels seen as though you are sure they are gonna be in the final. Win at all costs yet again , but you could also use the tractor breaking down and pouring water all over start line as your 8th rider , worked in the pairs !!!

Win at all costs , if it cant be Workington and with a miracle it might be but Edinburgh or Newcastle get my support .

A long way to go yet before 2014, alot will depend on winter changes to the leagues, whether it stays at 42.5 etc, etc, but for me I would like to keep Rene, Kyle and Campton

Well done guys , I am well chuffed with that result and keeping all 3 points , as I can't see Newcastle letting us get anywhere near them tomorrow . What a signing Anton Rosen seems to be he deserved more points really for his efforts , played a big part in the Newcastle side tonight. All 6 of our boys rode their socks off and deserved the 3 points , keeping our play off hopes alive

Coming over on the supporters bus for this , expecting a very entertaining match as usual at Brough Park although Newcastle coming out on top with all 3 points (still if my team can't win the title then its Newcastle or Edinburgh who will get my support don't want a Somerset/Ippo win....shhhhh don't tell the witches fans tho they will have my head ) A safe meeting for all with 7 comets coming back to DP in one piece. COME ON THE COMETS !!!

We do have a great team think its just with surprise defeats at home Ippo/Plymouth and Scunny taking a point we are a bit apprehensive facing a really strong Newcastle team who along with Edinburgh and Somerset I think will be fighting for the title. Ash just coming back from hand injury , no Tero and Chris really struggling to score points I feel we might be just too weak in the tail to cover Tero's rides . Hope we can keep at least 2 of the point though, Having missed a few weeks speedway being on holiday still looking forward to screaming,cheering the lads on as usual , come on boys #COMETSPRIDE

This would be a match worth watching as IMO this could be the playoff final ;-)
