The 3 meetings we struggled to get in were the 3 that were agreed at the start of the season until a certain team needed guests on a Friday so pulled the plug on other teams running on Fridays , backing up my opinion on what you know

Glasgow V Edinburgh , Ippo- v Glasgow, Edinburgh v Berwick, Lakeside v Glasgow, Lakeside v Newcastle all racing next week Seems there's a lot more teams who couldn't get their fixtures in either Our away to Newcastle was re-arranged due to rain , and home to lakeside abandoned due to Dan's injuries so all in all Workington had 1 meeting home to Peterborough we would have struggled to get in before this weekend

Take a long hard look at THJ's post ....might clarify a few things for you know it all's The cut-off's should be when ALL teams have completed ALL fixtures to give a true and fair picture how the the League finished as a whole. So you would be happy if Newcastle didn't get their fixtures in , yet if they had have done could have made the play-offs I'm almost certain if Scunny had any chance of getting there with their last fixtures , the God of BSPA would have stretched the cut-off date to suit !!!

Some teams season finished in August..I can remember going to meetings in October, play-offs always to be end of Sept cut-off...That wonderful board of people BSPA i think they call it pull the plug on 3 teams Friday's fixtures which were agreed so all had to be re-arranged. I was there last time when we took the win over Edinburgh but tomorrow is a total different ball game. Edinburgh have strengthened since then and are nigh on unbeatable at the one of the most home advantage tracks in the league. Would be a dream to take a point but a tough place to go ..Dig deep boys, stay safe and the very best of luck we carry on fighting for a play-off place

Crazy hey... I do understand it would have to have certain rules with so promoters couldn't pull a fast one to strengthen, but with injuries like broken bones/head injuries/long term surely sense should prevail ..BSPA say no more

I was told on that with serious injury/season ending injury you are allowed to sign a rider to replace...I'm not sure that's the route we would take though

As Dave Hoggart has pointed out , we had our own problems all day with flights being cancelled, Tony Jackson will probably not have known they had a guest , and it wasn’t his responsibility to start looking anyway , it was Lakesides mistake for getting Worrall , surely Worrall himself should have known he wasn’t eligible to ride..not Workingtons fault ..getting boring now Lakeside made the mistake , the meeting was abandoned so no gain for any team ....just a thought
