It's a pity there aren't a few riders like Jack around today , he maybe didn't ride for long at Berwick but he still has cult status. Len Silver also said great things about him in his book -

The EOS league was split into conferences last year after a large percentage of the Scottish Junior football clubs decided to become full members of the SFA

You can't be relegated from of the Lowland League . I don't see what difference it makes what League they're in the pitch dimensions will still have be much the same

He was probably given an advance by the publisher first that's normally how it works, I don't suppose any newspapers will be queuing up to serialise it as that's usually another way of making money on a book

I've driven to Cardiff once before and its not something I want to do again & I'm certainly not prepared to drive from the Scottish Borders to South Wales and back on the same day , so staying over is my only option -

Can't disagree with any of that -
As he's current world champ I'd say Tai is deserving of a wild card pick when you take into account his injury. Personally I wouldn't give Hancock one I think it's time to move on the series needs some new blood , I don't think Robert Lambert has done enough to justify a pick , Fricke however my have caught the eyes of those who decide who gets the nod for next year
