Berwick V Edinburgh: 11th June (pl)
DSC67 replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Need a group of plucky volunteers to put them down , preferably tonight , also it has to stop raining no later than roughly 6:30 pm to alow racing to begin -
Bringing back Alex Edberg would be the wrong move and a pretty desperate one too IMHO . We need a reserve who can take 5 maybe 6 rides in a meeting ,is Alex that guy ?

What happens when you hear it from a guy in Tescos , who heard from a guy at work who was told by someone else ?

Aye , and it's not steak mince either , just a load of old dross .

British Final Belle Vue June 13th.

As there's not a great deal of their usual Friday / Saturday night sport to show at this time of year ( no football or rugby etc) added to the fact that they have 5 dedicated sports chanells I can see no real reason why they would prefer a Monday night -

Be great if this was held on a Saturday evening and given stand alone status . That would make it more accessible to fans who can't travel to Manchester on a Monday night , not all of us can justify taking two days off work for a speedway meaning it would also make far more family friendly -

Won't know why they let Kerr go if Barker was unavailable , I suspect he accepted the guest booking before he agreed terms with Ipswich -

Great to get an away win and see TJ looking like he's getting back to last seasons form . Excellent haul from Dimitri and with all the others chipping in with good points makes a team effort , however I expect tomorrow nights match to be a much stiffer test -
Hope not

Barker can't make a gate and is injury prone , should be ideal

Heat 15, Who Can Replace A Rider Who Breaks The Tapes?
DSC67 replied to erniew's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
That's why in my opinion it should only be a reserve who's allowed as a replacement -

With Seb Aden obviously out for the long term ,now the promotion are going to need to look at their options , guests may work in the short term , but not all of them work well do they ? Should we look to the future and bring in another new asset and get him a proper average with an eye to next season or go down the tried and tested route , personally I prefer the first option.

It's ok to talk t the talk in The Speedway Star , but will they ever actually walk the walk . Who is going to do the re-writing ? The same clowns who are responsible for the current mess with the draft riders ? If there is to be a new rule book then there has to be a proper panel set up with representatives from all corners of the sport and not just the same old boys club who's only interest is self protection

A bit to close for comfort for my liking , but a win is a win as they say . Some cracking racing with lots of effort from all the riders on bothe sides . Good to see TJ looking he's getting back yo his old self again he seemed to have some speed again , although Kevin seemed to be a bit short on power . Romano Hummel looked OK for a first night be interesting to see how he gets on at Scunny on Fri night . Another fantastic amount raised in the bucket collection last night once again speedway fans show what a great bunch they ate , well done to all . Did anyone see how Liam looked last night ? It's good to hear he's getting back on the bike again hopefully it won't be too long until he's got a Bandits race jacket on again as that will certianly strengthen the reserve berth -

Terrible news for all friends an family , a young life taken to early my thoughts and prayers go out to them Ride in Peace Krystian -
Coming from tracks like Costa Messa I guess Shielfield was a wee bit of a culture shock to Kerr , he did improve on his subsequent visits but after a debut like that that's not hard to do

Seb & Liam both injured , TJ still not 100% and a new rider at reserve this meeting may not be as easy as first thought . Has the look of a must win IMHO -
Is he still riding ? Last I heard he was a trucker
-
Only time will tell . personally I'd like to see a strong rider in the No 4 race jacket

So what if he doesn't sing the national anthem It's hardly the crime of the century is it ? After all there's far more things in life to worry about . I wonder if from now on other riders who win GPs will recieve the same level of critasisam if they don't sing their national anthems , or is this all all about " he's not a real Brit is he " ?
