  1. 14 Points from Craig Cook last night proves that point wrong
  2. Well that was depressingly predictable , on a track that provided very little opportunity for passing The Bandits where done in at the tapes in almost every ht , no matter how hard they tried or where they searched it seemed there was very little grip out there for them to use . Big cheers to Craig Cook for a fantastic ride in ht 13 , to make things worse the news that the SGP was cancelled made my mood even worse as I didn't have that to watch when I got home . Another tough match ahead of us next Saturday and another home defeat perhaps
  3. 18 yrs ? How many years where the clubs in separate leagues ? That's a bit like saying Carlisle Unt haven't beaten Man Unt
  4. How many of the tickets have been taken up by corporate sponsors who can't be arsed to turn up ?
  5. Another tough fixture for Berwick , if we want to extend the season we need to win the tie
  6. Fairly common practice in football ( or it used to be ) not to allow season ticket holders into cup matches
  7. With no T/R in the cup this is going to be a tale of the two away legs , the team that performs the better away from home will most likely go through
  8. On last nights showing this meeting should be a comfortable win for the Rebels
  9. Well that was a bit of a mauling from the Tigers , with some tough meetings on the horizon I cant same I'm too optimistic about our chances in them after that display , Liam Carr apart there's not many of the team that can hold their heads up tonight . I cant understand why Berwick riders kept looking for a wide line that clearly wasn't there .
  10. Now there's a rarity theses days , no guests & no R/ R
  11. Good to have a full team again ,onwards and upwards
  12. Just pointing out to the poster that population is there , Berwick are neve going to match big city team I realise that , but I'm sure there's always room for a few more on Saturday night , short of physically dragging folks in off the street I'm not sure how you do that , as a previous member mention it's not just at Berwick where low crowds are a problem , the whole sport is in decline and has been for a few years now
  13. population of the Borders & N Northumberland 100,000+, even if they could attract 1% of that would be a decent crowd looking at todays crowds
  14. Maybe Davina McCall should make an announcement before the interviews
  15. Ive no problem with him riding , why would I ? He's our best rider , until he decides not to ride we pick him . You don't have to like someone to admire or respect their talent or ability
  16. thats good planning on the part of the director I'd like to think . All too often the cameras are placed at speedway meetings where they show the crowd at its lowest not the first speedway rider to fail that test
  17. exactly and that's the point some on here don't seem to grasp . The winner of the F1 Gp at Silverstone , the guy who wins at Wimbledon , or who ever lifts the trophy in Paris tomorrow night wont sully the event by swearing will they ? Woffy and anyone else who decides to copy him should remember that there are loads of kids watching and start acting like an adult . Im not a hater BTW I'm more saddened and disappointed at his childish behaviour than anything else
  18. Such a shame that instead of talking about the rider who won the GP , the main topic seems to be about the language used by the guy who didnt
