What have the various betting sites done/said about this little bit of race fixing ? Surely " The Grins " withdrawal affects the odds on the races he missed and the outcome of the meeting . In horse racing if a is withdrawn a certain amount is deducted from the winnings paid

Well done Wolves , deserved win . I'm amazed at how sensitive fans can be though, they give a guy abuse and pelters all night but as soon as he gives them a friendly wave they get all upset and indignant

I'm sure a major worldwide company would prefer not to have some foul mouthe idiot representing them , you don't hear guys like Rossi , Marquez or Pedroza swearing in interviews after or before the race

There is an obvious solution here , if they stopped interviewing him for a couple of rounds I'm sure Monster Joe and the rest of his sponsors would make sure he's stops doing it

Is there a big market for hookie speedway bikes or parts ? Surely they should fairly easily traced , I wouldn't imagine there's loads of folk out there looking for second hand speedway gear

Don't know if this has been suggested before , but why not put the tapes on a timer , once the ref puts the green light on there will be say 5 seconds until the tapes go up , anyone who charges the tapes and hits them gets thrown out

Rye House to win , but by how much is the big question , 16 points is only 4 5-1s and Berwick have a tendancy to lose 1-5s in Hts 13 &15 ,especially away from home , no MPT this time or Luke Bowen for Berwick so it could be close overall come the end of the meeting

Certainly not the best meeting of the season by any means , one or two decent races on a track that seemed to cause a few riders problems Vissing in particular looked like he was struggling . Great performance from Liam Carr , main talking point was Mr Gay's failure to disqualify Ricky Wellls in the rerun of ht 13 for failing to race , and also his decision in ht 15 was a bit strange from the back straight where I was he clearly to his own rider out , obviously thinking it was a Berwick rider outside him . The crowd was very disappointing for what is in effect a local derby , I won't be at the match v Somerset so I hope we can prevail vs The Rockets or that could be my final match of the season
