  1. That went a lot better than I had expected, it definitely helps when your guests work well for you, hopefully we’ll get some news on the long term future on the recovery time of both the injured riders soon . I my collarbone last year and was off work for a month, and the consultant told me that it would be at least six months to fully recover, but I’m not a rider of motorcycles or bicycles and I’m sure he’ gonna be desperate to climb back on the bike as quickly as possible

Last weekend’s Moto 3 race is definitely worth watching

Yesterdays sprint race was absolute carnage for a while due to the weather conditions, after the riders switched bikes they started to get a bit more control of their machines
  4. First of all, best wishes to the injured riders hopefully it’s nothing too serious. Well I can’t say that I was expecting that result, the long delay kind of knocked the stuffing out of the meeting and the Comets did rally a bit towards the end of the night . The Bandits will travel with a bit of confidence of entering the somewhat uncharted ground of the next round of a cup competition, but this is speedway and you never know what’s going to happen
  5. Looking forward to my first meeting of the season and hopefully a home win and a decent lead to take to the second leg tomorrow
  6. Tough opening meeting for the Bandits , I think this will be pretty close and the guys in stripes might just edge it
  7. It’s always better to head home after a victory, it was a pretty decent meeting last night with some good racing, special mention goes to Alfie Bowtell who was excellent, Simon Lambert as usual gave his all and I wouldn’t be upset if he was in the Bandits lineup next season. Once again the reserve pairing for Berwick weren’t great and the least said about Klindt’s performance the better. Final meeting of an interrupted season for me as I have something else on next weekend. Onwards to 26 , whatever it may hold
  8. That’s more than you can say about the £3:50 for a meeting program that was useless
  9. Aye , I said that to my friend, it would have been easy enough to print off something this morning
  10. Feels a lot better driving home after a win, there was a few decent races tonight Why was there no insert in tonight’s program ? Lots of writing to do tonight as both teams were vastly different to the original fixture
  11. You can only do that if your Number one is the next rider above the missing one in the averages, plus there’s nothing better than a lesser rider beating a big rider in a heat
  12. Another tough looking fixture, we might struggle to get a win tonight, I hope I’m wrong
  13. Well done to everyone who contributed to last night’s Ben Fund collection , a fantastic £1885 was collected
  14. Disappointing performance from the Berwick reserve pairing, you’re always going to struggle to win meetings when your bottom end get comprehensively out scored by the opponent
  15. Not for those of us who have to travel because they live close to the team they follow
