Leicester vs Oxford 7 May 2022

Should be some cracking racing this weekend as I understand that a motorway blade has been on the track all day today to smooth out the track in readiness for the visit of the Cheetahs on Saturday. -

Its been around for a long time. Its a case of needing an eagle eyeed ref to spot it. And Saturday night's was one of the best. -

He spun his back wheel before the tapes went up so was not stationary. Both wheel and bike need to be stationary. -

So am I -
Also I should add for a transponder to work their needs to be a loop beneath the finish line to act as a timing point. If you look the SGP promoters have had to dig up the track for this weekend SPG to drop in the loop.
-
What you are talking about is the accelerometer on the bike, which is different to a transponder.

2019 when the powers that be thought it was a good idea to use social media to engage with a younger audience.

Yes there is medical cover.
-
Ambulance, driver and paramedic, not the rest of the medical team.
-
I think you are well out with the cost of an Ambluance based on my experience. £800 is the going rate to attend a speedway meeting. £250-£400 would get you one at the village fete.
-
You only need one ambluance if you also have an onsite medical room. Cost of an Ambluance & paramedic is about £800 ish per meeting depending on provider. A number of private providers are not keen to cover speedway because in comparison so a village fate the chance of an injury is high, which is reflected in the cost.

Leicester v Poole Sat 16th/4/22

I think you may have it spot on. -
Understand the thinking behind the why pick this meeting for streaming. However using your own logic the majority of the meetings involving Glasgow, Edinburgh, Plymouth and Poole as the home team would be streamed as by their location they have the longest journies for the majority of visiting fans. Allowing that the Oxford first home meeting was always likely to be a sell out maybe that should have been picked as a streamed meeting.

Leicester vs Scunthorpe 02/04/2022 Championship
W9 Lion replied to IainB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Just checked. Met Office saying 50% of rain between 1-2pm. Little chance of rain the rest of the day. Possibly a little early. If it was to rain between 3-4pm The Gaffer can have his feet up in the "Beaumont Leys Hilton" as nature has done his job . It's not forecast to freeze until well after the scheduled finish. But possibly a night for the bobble hat. -

Because 1. They would have to pay for both teams making break even much higher 2. Individual Meetings at Beaumont Park have been poorly supported in the past and lost moneyh. -

You missed the ticket give away they ran on social media earlier in the week then? -
Saw him at Leicester and the only time he looked iffy was when he was out with NKI - but then again he is one of the two best riders around Leicester. Think that he may surprise a few people and put a point or so on his starting average.
