  1. You obviously didnt look onthe back straight. Based on what I have seen away and at the NDL home meeting I would say Leicester is the best supported NDL team away from home.
  2. If my understanding was correct three offers of bikes were made.
  3. Or someone who is regarded as a proper Journalist (rather than a snowflake content creator) has been called out for cutting corners and not getting quotes to support an opinion peice.
  4. 012.1.14 Foul, Unfair or Dangerous Riding The Referee shall immediately disqualify any rider who they consider indulges in foul, unfair or dangerous riding. If, in the opinion of the Referee, such conduct produces an advantage to the rider involved or affects the chances of one or more riders, the Referee may stop the heat and order a re-run. If any rider is unable to cross the finish line as a result of foul, unfair or dangerous riding on the part of another rider who, inconsequence, has been disqualified, the disadvantaged rider shall be deemed to have finished the heat in the placing held immediately before the foul, unfair or dangerous riding and allowing for any advancement in placing following the disqualification of the guilty rider. A similar system shall apply for a rider who, in the opinion of the Referee has deliberately laid down their machine or has left the track in the interests of safety. Speedway Control Bureau Regulations 119 In certain circumstances the Referee may disqualify a rider for foul, unfair or dangerous riding from the remainder of the meeting. In this case no replacement facilities are allowed for the remainder of a team meeting. A Referees decision to declare a heat completed, or disqualify a rider from a meeting for foul, unfair or dangerous riding shall be deemed a statement of fact and no protest or appeal is permitted.
  5. When I got home I looked at proboards thinking what a great meeting it was. I was left thinking whoever sent in the race reports may have been watching a different meeting to me.
  6. Because as stated by Max Fricke the riders wanted a slicker track, with grippier gates.
  7. Err, its the second news feature on the home page and has been for over 24 hours. If you looked you would have found it as you post is timed 12 hours after the meeting preview was uploaded. Previews on Speedway GB are uploaded on the morning of the meeting with the exception of some weekend meetings, but dont let facts stand in the way of a forum post.
  8. The issue is caused by some of the comments on there being classified as hate speech. The speedway groups and similar sports interest groups are easy targets for the Meta bots and statistically taking one of them down is the same as taking down a right wing group on the platform.
  9. Because the so called inferior product is actually developing talent rather than being a home for experienced riders that could not progreess into Championship 1-5's. Look at yeaterdays Under 19 semi final at Plymouth and the number of riders in that who have spent a season or more riding for the Lion Cubs.
  10. Obviously I have a unique prespective on this Iain. I can tell with my back to the tapes because of the change in the pressure wave hitting the back of my leg with the riders off 2 and 3 and I was aware on one occasion someone obviously had a nibble at the tapes as the pressure dropped as the revs fell. Appreciate the feedback.
  11. YR - it got it spot on last week. Rather than it may rain its forecasts the amount of rain and today at less tham 1mm it equates to Andy doing 4 laps less with water bowser. Those people that went by the BBC/Met Office forcast last week and stayed away missed the best meeting of the season so far.
  12. Depends where you look. YR forecast 0.4mm of rain this morning and 0.5mm of rain this afternoon and a dry evening. If this is the case you are still likely to see Andy and the water bowser this evening.
  13. According to met check 0.5mm of rain over two hours. So that saves the club 4 laps of diesel as Andy put more than that down over four laps with the bowser.
  14. He looked totally uninterested in the meeting at Leicester.
  15. Always has started seasons like this.
  16. 1. Always open for a guest booking - Start Marshals should receive training from the CofC and as a licenced official will have a copy of the rule book. 2. Leicester also provide the Cubs with a grippy track and I am always fearful at the start of Heat 2 the first time the away reserves drop the clutch.
  17. Poor old Brookie was about to pull into the car park when i called him to say it was off. Mind you he made it home for 9ish....
  18. One minute warning was removed from the rule book for this season.
  19. The water was brushed away a number of time throughout the day. The enterence to the stadium is lower than the land around it so once brushed or even pumped away water leaches out of the soil and returns to the lowest point.
