I would say your overview of the league could be spot on. -
Championship League Predictions

It will be interesting to see what league racing is like on the reshaped track. Im already looking forward to Berwick away, great banter, decent beer & excellent fish & Chips. The only downside is the smug conversation with the Gaffer when he says enjoy the trip down to Leicester. Im home in just over the hour -

Well its an interesting view. Do please come and say hello before & after the meeting at Leicester I'm quite easy to spot, you will normally find me around the startline area..... -
Well as many teams have announced their 1-7 who do we fancy to win the league. If both teams are injury free its either Eastbourne or Leicester for me. Newcastle look a bit lffy and I think Glasgow may have to get their corporate cheque book out at some point during the season.

So, what do we think if the team now that it has been released? No surprises, safe, solid selection.
-
So who do you think will be the additional rider?
-
I think its a positive plan to build on the growing sccess of the British Youth Championship which is starting to develop good, young riders. Maybe the plan is get lots of untried riders into league racing. After say, a couple of season those that are good should be at Champrionship reserve level. Then a couple of years after that in the top league aged 20ish. Maybe the benefits of these changes will not be seen for 4+ years

I'm surprised that Mountain was not selected by a top team

As we have signed Kai Ward who do we think the “Ginger Ninja” should have in his team? I’m guessing at Dan & Joe, but that still leaves 4 spots up for grabs? The issue is, if the points limit has been dramatically reduced surely the focus has got to be getting “value on their average” second strings where they can look at putting a couple of points on their average….
-
I think that the problem was that when riders were signed for thr 2021 season they were available. Now the rider is not. Eastbourne are in a strong position with a British 1-7 in the Championship, while other clubs have had riders withdrawn or there is some doubt on riders being in Europe next season etc.

I think THJ has got it spot on. Re style of stadium, banked earth keeps the noise in but at Leicester we had to have a double skinned acoustic fence all around the stadium which is basically 2 inch planks of wood that overlap and in our case had to be mounted to a timber frame on an individual basis. (I never want to see a nail gun in my life again).

Based on my knowledge of Leicester its the Promoter's responsibility to comply with the councils regulations . -
They always have been hiring the track. Over the last ten seasons they have built up a good network of people who hire it throughout the season, they know what they get, a well organised day, with a reasonable surface. Possibly one difference this year is that its received more publicity as there are no competitive meetings.

Maybe they have also been proactive in selling it. Over the last ten seasons they have built up a good network of people who hire it throughout the season, they know what they get, a well organised day, with a reasonable surface. Possibly one difference this year is that its received more publicity as there are no competitive meetings.

Wasnt the deal that Nielsen put together with Oxford included a clause where he could "reshape" the track?!? Or is my memory playing mind games.?

Doyle was not World Champion at Leicester. I think you only have to look at two factors as to why the crowds increased at Leicester last year.; 1. The change back to Saturday nights, 2. A winning team for the first time since the club returned in 2011. For Leicester to continue to grow their crowds they need to keep on winning & remain "a Saturday nght club" then hopefully we can get back to the level of support we received in the first three seasons, or even higher.

"Sandwiched between major roads" would make it highly attractive for housing.
-
The lights have been repositioned so they light the track rather than the sky and trees.
-
Monitoring the engine controls would be the key. Rather than say having to stip a motor in the pits pre meeting, just say you get caught afterwards with a illeagle mod to the engine you receive a 2 year ban.
