So according to you Skidder Jason may not return to Swindon in 2014 because of the payment issues that occurred at Blunsdon this season ! Some of you Poole fans - holier than thou You may be right of course but then again you may be wrong.. No doubt he is just another rider that only wants to ride for Poole Oh

Tai did a pretty good job on TS today, despite all the 'piss-taking' - he mentioned as many sponsors as possible and ultimately Michael Gray was enthusing about attending the 2014 GP in Cardiff.. Colin Murray and Micky Gray to attend via back-stage passes in 2014 Well done Tai - a job well done

Steve wouldn't dare post from Florida, it would just confirm him as a sad loser when not posting from Rome after the whooping the Pirates got from Cov in 2010... -
Starman takes a lot of flak on here on occasions, but never seems to get riled and just carry's on posting his thoughts.. So fair play to him - personally I enjoy his contributions to this forum..

No Sky Speedway = A New Opportunity
YerRopes replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Have always thought that the points limit should be made up to the League's strongest side - team continuity and all that, but obviously the sport cannot currently afford it... The suggested alternative of the likes of Tai, Darcy etc racing even more PL/NL riders will drive even more supporters away. If the sport cannot afford the 'big names' then it is obvious that they shouldn't be employed. Competitive racing please - where hopefully, most any of the 4 riders can win.. -
To be honest, it doesn't really matter what anyone on here thinks... Tai is World Champion and Darcy is not. It is Tai's name that will always be in the record books. Darcy is an exciting rider and his time will most likely come before long - only time will tell though..

Rude ? informative I would suggest... Have some friends who live in Naples, gated community and all that, can't get the price they paid so can't afford to come home, they can't wait -..herropes confirms this after a visit a couple of years back.. All good beaches privately owned, commercially horrible and full of doddery old Bush types... Actually, ideal for the myopic Poole poster.. -
Agreed, £25 per head is way too much money and then there's £1.50 for parking and the cost of programme(s) too...shan't be watching 'Strictly' though.. Poole had a good field for the Blue Riband and that was £18 I believe, a full £7 cheaper... Pricing for this event needs to be looked at, as it is not the prestigious event it once used to be

You defend the indefensible as ever, so no surprise there. The Florida dolphin has asked for time off next month - too scared of the diarrhea We're all used to it though... Hope you're not sat on a park bench somewhere shouting at the locals 'it is Krug and I'm going to give George W a big kiss when I get there'. -

The lack of respect by some from Poole for anyone bar themselves is actually quite nauseating... As for the 'Jealousy' card - it's rather pathetic and childish in the extreme... But heh ho, they do get to go to Florida and think they live in 'Nirvana'.. La Di F*****g Da BTW..., Florida is soulless - go and see the real USA -

A very well written post that should clarify things for one or two Poole fans... -
I think your post says more about you than anything else.. If Gary has left the Robins, I would like to wish him all the best and thank him for all his efforts..

Another dodgy track, another borefest - at least BHam have a good excuse with the three days of rain prior Congratulations to the Poole riders and their supporters, Poole have been by far the best side in the PO's (however they qualified) I hope you find someone to share that Krug with Steve and I have no doubt that Mrs Doubtfire will be flouncing those petticoats 'big style' tonight -

I was looking forward to cheering the Pirates to victory tonight, but as the meeting's off and re-arranged for tomorrow, I shall now have to forego this pleasure as I will be watching the England game instead... -

How true, the continuous God Is Poole are great posts do get a tad tiresome... -

What Bollox - but I see what you're trying to do If you repeat this 'jealousy crap' often enough we might all believe it... It'll never work you know and most likely you know why too... See what I did there -

What are your thoughts Steve about Poole being jealous of other club's supporters just being happy about watching Speedway, rather than cheating like Poole have to do to keep supporters like yourself happy. We all know you read all threads.. All yours Big Man... -
Congratulations El Champions Poole
YerRopes replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
All this talk of everyone being jealous of Poole is laughable and pathetic I would suggest the Poole Promotion & Management are jealous of all other clubs. Other club's supporters are generally happy to have speedway to watch, these clubs don't have to cheat to satisfy their customer base - unlike Poole -

You debated that excellently Starman, I see Skidder liked it too.. It would appear that both you guys know the score and look the other way.. Down in Deepest Darkest there is no defence for the indefensible -
Birmingham V Poole Grand Final 2nd Leg
YerRopes replied to pirateandi's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I don't mind the Play Off's although the League Winners should be the Champions and the Play Off winners, should be, well, the Play Off winners. Poole have been the best team in the Play Off's by a country mile, however an unbalanced EL fixture list devalues any Play Off qualification and subsequent title win. Should Poole win the Play Off's, such a victory will ultimately be the most hollow and meaningless in the sport's history due to their dubious shenanigans over the greater part of the season -
Poole V Birmingham 1st Leg Grand Final
YerRopes replied to pirateandi's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If that's what Ford said then he is obviously an egomaniac as well as a fool As for last night Poole thoroughly deserved their victory against a very poor Birmingham side. Poole have proved to be the strongest and most determined side in the Play Off's and once again have proved Mr Shovlar wrong. It was a shame though that the meeting was so boring, obviously not helped by that 'cow pat' of a track.. -
