It does at least increase the likelihood of 7 man teams..and should cut-down the number of '2 Minute Warnings'.. However it will prove to be contentious should Bomber or the like be used as a guest for Josh Grajczonek or Nicolai Klindt (for example) should they get inflated averages from riding against the NL guys so regularly..

TBH, I know how CR feels, earlier in the week I said no to a night out tonight in order to go to 'the speedway'.. I know Blunsdon has it's own climate (akin to Greenland)..but... In Swindon there was 5 minutes of rain (3:10-3:15 ish) as I drove from Westlea to Wichelstowe, it wasn't raining when I got in the car, nor was it when I got out and it's been dry ever since.. I suppose the good thing is - I've saved more than £20 tonight

Sadly, they're all too busy 'burying their heads in the sand' (hoping it will all go away).. Everyone refuses to take any responsibility themselves, instead they all try to apportion blame elsewhere rather than together attempting to resolve these issues asap.. After the various Press Releases over the last couple of days blaming each other, the future fixtures of Coventry Speedway remain 'clouded in mystery' to your average supporter and that really is just not good enough... Grow up please and get it sorted..

Have to agree with you Sidders, looks to me to be an away win mostly because of the NL reserves, though that's not a criticism as I do believe both Steve and Daryl will improve as the season progresses... Not convinced by the new format either, but it will provide extra interest on Thursday... Looking forward to finally seeing some live speedway after a long break and I hope that both Simon & Nicolai can live up to their past performances at Blunsdon. Bring it on..

So the start of the 2014 season begins with another farcical ERC shambles that is even worse last year's mess. No lessons have been learnt and the BSPA obviously have scant regard for the sport and its supporters or are even more incompetent than most ever believed. I fully expect the 'inquiry' to be a whitewash constituting a vague shrug of the shoulders by the BSPA.. Yesterday should have been a 'flagship' meeting garnering much needed positive publicity and 'whetting the appetite' of the supporters (who deserve so much better)...

That boring old chestnut... Shovlar continually 'fishes' with provocative posts, trying to get a reaction, but should anyone else do it, it's supposedly 'hatred of Poole'.... Get a grip man, no one really 'hates Poole', it's all just pantomime

A good point Screamer in terms of encouraging the youngsters, but this is Poole and Matt Ford we are talking about.. Unfortunately it's just a question of time before Lee Smart is thrown on the scrapheap by the 'win at all costs' Pirates.. Poole should be booed wherever they go for their appalling attitude to the sport and the EL

The powers that be will no doubt ensure that any rider cannot be replaced with another who is higher up the draft list or has a higher average... That would be CHEATING .

As he's ridden already for Australia, under no circumstances should he be allowed to rider for GB, if not for that I'd have no problem either...
