Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 14/5/2014
YerRopes replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The fat sow just couldn't resist... -
Wasn't tonight Little Noddy's last meeting and isn't Darcy too injured to ride for Poole.. If I'm right with the above, who is the new No 1 Mega Star for the Super Winners ?

Was that the same Davey Watt that was so brilliant in the Pairs on Saturday - a truly shocking performance from him... -
King's Lynn V Swindon 14/05/14 Sky Meeting

Dakota North's second excellent performance in a week is a definite plus... Swindon not having much luck at the moment and although I like Simon it's time for him to go.. Should a reasonable replacement be found 4th place is still on.. -

Do you have a tempting Cow Pie awaiting... As for the make-up of the Swindon team, I'm quite happy to leave it to Rosco.. -

Calm down CR, this sport ain't worth so much angst..I want Swindoin to do well and see some exciting meetings.. But TBH, I'm not bothered who rides for Swindon apart from Killer, who is brilliant to watch.. And does anyone really care who wins the tin-pot EL Play Offs apart from Shovlar,, -

Disappointed with the defeat obviously...(3 5-1's in the last 3 heats).. However it's good to see Tai return to something like form..and well done to the Wolves.. As for all these Swindon fans calling for 'sackings' left right and centre.. Dak was brilliant tonight and Simon scored more that Troy.. EK - is not the solution ! -

Someone ITK sent me this pic of KKS/LMG etc whilst she was posting on the BSF..(it's not for the faint-hearted).. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Vc-ResnCWzg/T9BtcOCjCbI/AAAAAAAAC9c/XyVhb_SLc-U/s1600/fat-woman-internet_1654487i.jpg And no wonder MJJ has done a runner from PBoro and the UK... -

Why try and create an atmosphere of animosity for no reason,,, Your really are a sad case... C'Mon you Reds... -
Lee Smart (taken from the Adver article below).. “I’ve pulled the plug on speedway now, I’ve quit completely because I’ve had enough of all the politics and all the rubbish which goes with it." http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/11205781.CAUGHT_IN_THE_DRAFT__A_look_at_the_Swindon_reserves_who_set_out_to_make_a_name_for_themselves/?ref=var_0

Agree with all of that RR and unless Dak improves his place may be under threat first..
-
Think his teeth have a mind of their own.. Don't particularly want to criticize, but the commentary ain't great..
-
A very impressive Davey Watt tonight..best I've seen him in ages...

I'm not a Man Utd supporter Starman , congratulations to Man City though - surely they can't blow it from here.. -

Very true Steven, just as Man Utd are the current Premier League Champions... -
Are you sure, try telling that to Lee Smart...

I was sorely tempted to stream this meeting but common sense prevailed as the pub beckoned.. Apparently I made the right decision, as no stream was forthcoming, I first checked Updates at 21-21 and then later at 40-44, were Swindon really winning 26-40 at one stage.. With heat 15 imminent, I kept refreshing Updates until confirmation of the Rockinest Robins victory was confirmed - hurrah ! Well done Swindon, hard lines Cov...

A good job we're not talking about Darcy's "management skills advice and his encouragement" with regard to the fairer sex Starman eh ! As for Darcy's potential replacement surely Mr Gollob doesn't really have enough z's, k's or j's in his name.. Perhaps Tomasz Jedrzejak would 'score enough points' for the Poole 'Scrabble' Pirates..
-
I used to do that return journey too RR, whereabouts in Bristol are you ? As for tomorrow, about 2mm predicted from now, and most of that should have fallen by the morning rush hour with some occasional light drizzle to stop by the commute home, so hopefully (subject to the state of Cov's track) the meeting should be on..
-
Josh Grajczonek just gets better and better.. An excellent signing by the Pirates and all above board too
-
Excuse me Potato Head, Starman and I are having a surrealistic debate, please butt out..
-
Fair enough riposte Starman...however.. Perhaps, I should just cut a hole in the bottom of the sack (a la Pirates) and then run like f**k.... hoping no one else will notice Oh.. All in the best interests of 'winning at all costs' of course..
-
To be honest, the winning of the EL these days is equivalent to winning the School Sport's Day sack race for 'put upon' fathers.. Only sad fat blokes from Dorset, (who can't mange to get to the Train Station regularly enough) seem to give a toss.. BTW... what a shocking way to treat poor Lee Smart (and all the post/subsequent bollocks from deepest/darkest too).. Poole Speedway - you are a blight on the EL
-
I;m not sure whether you're serious or not Gemini, but don't whatever you do disappear from here .

Swindon Speedway have embraced the 'draft' more so than any other club in terms of the interests of the youngsters, Swindon released Bates to go to Sheffield (as per Josh's wishes) and got the unfortunate Darryl Ritchings (get well soon Darryl) in as a replacement, his nasty injury meant Swindon were limited with their options and went for the inexperienced Dan Greenwood (good luck Dan) as a result..(no complaints from Swindon either).. In total contrast, what do the Pirates do, drop Lee Smart at the earliest opportunity after failing to use him at BV for some unexplained reason and now you want special dispensation to bend the rules when it comes to replacing him... Your post is that of a 'buffoon' Steven.....
