Poole V Swindon Weds 6th August 2014.

Your opinion counts for very little as you slaughter just about everyone.. -
Agree with that JT.. That would make everything all too simple though...

Well Done Rosco An excellent team selection and a big performance and well done to Tai, Chris, Simon and Danny too.. What a difference a proper TM makes... -

Agreed, another total 'snooze fest' as you put it - the norm from Wimborne Road these days... First to bend one wins (99/100)..very very poor... Mind you Swindon isn't much better, the only excitement is usually provided by all the ruts, bumps and potholes.. But that at least can be quite interesting in the 'who will fall off next' kind of way.. -

Can't believe it was all 4 back as, as you say he just fell off.. -

Glad to see Pawlicki up and walking okay,, Was amusing to see Middlo slowly breaking into a trot for about a yard and then realising it was all a big mistake.. One of the best camera angles from Bet365 @ Poole... -
Belle Vue V Swindon 21 July, 2014
YerRopes replied to Aces51's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The two best EL meetings I've seen this season have both come from Kirky Lane - what a turnaround Last night's meeting was the 2nd best of the two, despite the magnificent victory for the Rockinest Robins -
FFS CR, grow an allotment....the EL is a tin pot league. ! Having said that, I would like to congratulate the Robin's tonight for beating the 'auld' enemy.. Also well done last week for being the first team to dent KL's hopes (for a second or two). Rosco has got Simon flying and credit to the pair of them for that.. As the overweight poster from Poole used to say....'Happy Days'...

2014 European Speedway Championships
YerRopes replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in International World of Speedway
Just watched this meeting through pure chance. Excellent entertainment with most riders in close contention (despite the favourable gates). I'm afraid that it put the EL to shame...sort it out guys.. -
It is obvious that the sport is struggling financially, many fans have been lost over the last few years due to the continual 'watering down' of the product whilst admission prices have gone up - a disastrous recipe ! All clubs ready to 'give it a go' in 2015 should set a maximum pay limit per point, ie, pay what they can afford, rather than what they'd like to afford (a global one hopefully) If this means the likes of Hans, Batch and Killer etc don't ride in the EL (or amalgamated EL/PL) who cares - their priorities understandably are elsewhere. Perhaps this would also make the racing more competitive and exciting as a result.. The only downside I can see is perhaps there are not enough riders to go around

Agreed, we're just not good enough, Killer and Batch let us down tonight..(who really cares though).. Am enjoying the Swedish/Danish mic man though... -
Eastbourne V Poole 7pm (on Sky), Monday 30th June.

We don't want that (god forbid)... I couldn't quite believe the immense size of Muddlo's gut - it's absolutely huge -
Swindon Robins Vs Kings Lynn Stars (thurs 3rd July)
YerRopes replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I don't really think that's the case... I'm sure the majority of Swindon fans would prefer KL rather than Poole to win the Play Off's...(I would anyway).. Mind you, I hope you get stuffed on Thursday (however unlikely).. -
Leicester V Swindon Saturday June 21st
YerRopes replied to stevethelion's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well done to what was left of the Robins tonight - justice has been done with a well deserved win for Swindon after Leicester's shenanigans over this fixture.. Nice little stadium and congrats for getting it going, but that was a shocking meeting with little entertainment.. -

Everyone is having a go at this meeting because it is a complete and utter farce (not to mention Leicester's behaviour).. I hope you enjoy it though.. When you leave, can you turn off the lights... -
British Final 2014
YerRopes replied to Julie Browne's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Congratulations to Tai, unlucky Scott Nicholls...(Bomber robbed you of a place in the final).. It did make me laugh when Tai passed Barker and Pearson commented that Barker was going to 'repay the compliment'.. I usually defend the commentators but that was crass.. -
