  1. I must admit to reading that statement the same way SCB... However, Rosco has done a good job on the team front for Swindon in the past and I'm hopeful that he will pull that 'very large bunny out of the hat' yet...
  2. Any more ? I don't want any of the Devil's own at Blunsdon thank you very much...
  3. Congratulations on getting Noddy back, a good move for Poole and the EL.. Like others, I'm surprised that Poole are using Dak, he did well for Swindon last season but is on an inflated average for 2015...
  4. I would like to say it 'cracks me up too' Sid, but it doesn't... Big difference fans cheering on and idolising a rapist, especially with their abhorrent chants as compared to someone doing a job that normal punters have to do... Each to their own I guess...
  5. Regardless of Ms Webster's talent or otherwise I fully support her (and others) stand on this matter... Ched Evans is a convicted rapist and there is no way I would want such a person representing my club, what signal does that send to the young of this country, especially when Sheffield United supporters have been singing 'he can rape who he wants'... I have no problem with him becoming a 'Painter and Decorator' or something similar however... Edited to add, that I wouldn't want him painting my house, but no doubt the supporters of Mr Evans on here would be more than happy to leave him alone with their partners/wives etc... Yeah right...
  6. Sorry Starman,I don't really understand that post... I know you are a huge Poole fan and as I've said before I enjoy reading most of your posts...
  7. Just cheer up a bit Gustix... Chris Harris has been below par for the best part of two seasons until the end of last year when he got going again...many have had a pop and many have supported him.. As for Darcy, I will admit to not liking him, however he should be treated like any other rider and if the ban he gets is for 6 months back-dated and he can ride the whole season, I don't have a problem with that... Others might however and we are all entitles to our views,,,
  8. Well done KL for going with 6 of the 7 from last year, I'm sure that is something the fans can relate too.. And good luck on your second FTR
  9. Would be happy with that assuming Killer or an equally exciting replacement is found... Like CR, don't want any Poole assets in the Swindon team as we all know what will happen come the PO's...
  10. I suggest you cut out the grizzling and try and be a lot more positive..
  11. Would much prefer... Emil Batch Morra Howarth Michelsen Wright Rose I shall probably wake up in a while though...
  12. Agreed Starman - the hearing should have happened at the earliest opportunity as it is only fair on anyone in Darcy's position to know the outcome as soon as possible so that they know where they stand and can make alternative plans (if necessary) As regards your 2nd point, I'm sure any ban will be back-dated to the date of the offence..
  13. With regard to Darcy's FIM case, his previous misdemeanors are irrelevant as they are not speedway related... Darcy should be treated in exactly the same manner as anyone else regardless of talent and people's like or dislike of him It suggests paranoia on the part of some if they regard this as some sort of ridiculous 'Poole hater' garbage
  14. Very true Sid... I just could not support either of those two in Swindon colours. It would be my problem not yours...
  15. They have both made it clear how much they love Poole and that is fair enough But basically, I don't trust either of them to do their best for Swindon when it really matters (the PO's)... So let's not even go there please.. Edited to add that they are both brilliant riders, especially young Darcy...but I couldn't cheer for either of them I'm afraid..
  16. Would welcome Emil to Blunsdon, but don't want either Holder or Ward in a Robin's vest ever....
  17. Either of Baggy's and Tellboy's teams would be favourites immediately However Tellboy has 3 riders over 7.00 and Baggy is perhaps a tad optimistic with his selection.. Good thinking though..
  18. If all teams could be about the strength of your suggested Pirates team then my enthusiasm for the sport might reawaken Most glad that the FTD riders are of a more competitive standard for next season
  19. Sad to see Simon off Swindon's radar now, it was always likely to happen with Sheffield riding on a Thursday too.. So a big thanks to you Simon for your efforts in the Robins colours.. BTW...not particularly bothered whether Jason Doyle rides elsewhere next year, would much rather watch the spectacular 'nutcase' that is Peter Kildemand, if it's not to be him then I hope we can find an adequate and an equally exciting replacement...
  20. Fair play Starman, you are passionate and defend your club, cant argue with that really... Even if you are mostly wrong...
  21. C'mon Starman, what's the matter with you these days, I used to enjoy some of your more light-hearted posts, but these days you do appear to have an issue with anyone who doesn't glorify the 'cheating' all conquering Pirates.. In fairness to Gavan, his points are mostly very fair on this issue....
  22. Don't pretend to understand the rules of this draft, however, who has benefited the most... Yes you've guessed it those forever 'cheating' Poole Pirates.. Shocking really...how on earth did Poole get 2nd pick in tier 2 after ring-fencing Newman ? Surely they should have had last pick in tier 2 as 'Champions' A total farce and a complete disgrace...
  23. Rosco did well for the Robins especially considering Swindon's position in that weirdest of weird draws... A warm welcome to the Rockinest Robins Charles and Lewis...
  24. If this is the case, does that make room for young Max Fricke at Brandon... Still think MF the younger is destined for the land of black...
