  1. Have done likewise WK.. You've really said it all.. Good Luck Tai..
  2. Nonsense Skidder . All anyone wants is a fair and 'above board' sport. Should there be any shenanigans by any club then a full and thorough investigation should take place with the results published in full...and any penalty accepted with grace - wouldn't that be good You are super defensive of Poole and blame any criticism of your team on 'some people's agendas', this is laughable and happily ignores some of your club's antics over recent seasons..
  3. Agree with that Paulco, the staff at the SS do an excellent job in getting a comprehensive speedway news magazine out every week, including all the results from Europe and beyond.... It's not a criticism of the SS and the service they provide, but it would be good for someone to do some in-depth analysis of contentious events such as BV Vs Poole last season
  4. Point taken Steve, Great Britain it is then (not Team GB)...
  5. I’m sure that Middlo is more than capable of coping with anything that is posted on here (as well he should be), after all he is not adverse to ‘dishing it out’ is he – see his Twitter comments to genuine supporters at the end of last season as an example. Anyway, congratulations to Rosco, hopefully this will be the beginning of a new dawn for Team GB (England)…
  6. A fair post RP.. If the title of this thread had been 'Who is the most talented rider you've ever seen' - then for me it would be young Darcy, he can achieve it all if he has the right mindset.. Time will tell though..
  7. The best rider in the world in 2013 was without doubt Tai Woffinden who came from nowhere to win the World Title. Indeed, Tai is a big Dorsetshire 'Country Mile' ahead of young Darcy who has all the potential in the world but has failed to win anything individually and arguably went backwards during 2013. (Duplicate threads going on)..

  9. I'm as 'good as gold' Mr T... You need new net curtains though...
  10. You're a sweet-talking old charmer Tsunami...
  11. I know very little about Alf apart from the fact that his name has been part of my life since I was 'god knows' how young... I wish him (and his family) all the best..
  12. Have only got to Page 6 on this thread - ie. the above post from the BSF's self promoted 'know it all' on every subject.. As I currently have some spare time as the wife is getting ready.. Tsunami, please get out of your arse - don't tell us what PC said - we can all read
  13. Starman my friend, you continue to defend the indefensible.. As BWitcher has pointed out Middlo secured defeat against both Latvia and the USA as Team Manager - both of whom are speedway minnows today. Middlo has also spent much of his spare time abusing speedway supporters on his twitter account - very poor fare and he should have been dismissed immediately for the former (and immediately for the latter too).... Whoever takes over will have a difficult task in front of them, but they really cannot do any worse and they hopefully will conduct themselves with dignity.
  14. They'll be dancing in the streets of everywhere bar Poole tonight Phil Morris I hope...
  15. Tai did a pretty good job on TS today, despite all the 'piss-taking' - he mentioned as many sponsors as possible and ultimately Michael Gray was enthusing about attending the 2014 GP in Cardiff.. Colin Murray and Micky Gray to attend via back-stage passes in 2014 Well done Tai - a job well done
  16. Starman takes a lot of flak on here on occasions, but never seems to get riled and just carry's on posting his thoughts.. So fair play to him - personally I enjoy his contributions to this forum..
  17. Have always thought that the points limit should be made up to the League's strongest side - team continuity and all that, but obviously the sport cannot currently afford it... The suggested alternative of the likes of Tai, Darcy etc racing even more PL/NL riders will drive even more supporters away. If the sport cannot afford the 'big names' then it is obvious that they shouldn't be employed. Competitive racing please - where hopefully, most any of the 4 riders can win..
  18. Many congratulations to Tai on becoming World Champion, especially with his dodgy collar bone What a great opportunity for the BSPA and all Promoters...
  19. Agree with you Sidney, it's OK to watch both on TV on the one night, but a nightmare to watch live as the meetings take so long... Hence I watched this year's semi's on TV due to past experiences - especially bad at Cov in 2010 with no big screen (not a dig at Cov)..
  20. Good post BCD, agree with all of that... Some transparency and an Independent Body asap please..
  21. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" I read that in the Bible as a child you know - perhaps you could learn from it
  22. Milk is apparently... BTW Sid, I wouldn't apologise either..
  23. Nigel can indeed be a bit shouty at times (especially regarding Woffy & Darcy) and Kelvin can get his words befuddled.. I can live with that however as I enjoy the TV broadcasts and they both provide the relevant info on whatever the meeting. Think they both get some unfair bad press on here..
  24. Agree with you Sid, although Gary does go mostly absent during the season on here and info from the club is sparse.. I'm a massive fan of Rosco - he made reference on Twitter to him being 'tacitly (tactically) unaware', presumably referring to the the latest BV vs Swindon 5-1 for which he got some criticism (me included). He shouldn't take it to heart though, as most I know all support him.. Agree with your sentiments and your earlier post..
