It could well be argued that you are doing the stalking here Skidder, I assume because Gavan winds up one or two of you Poole fans Should be a cracking meeting though, obviously I hope that Cov win and Poole will take defeat in a graceful manner BTW, you must agree that Jacques and SCB's avatars are both topical and amusing

Have now read some of this issue and it is top quality stuff.. One comment though, the maps were interesting, but would be far more useful if the nearest airports were shown too

On the way back from work today, popped into Sainsbury's at Stratton in Swindon,, Two copies of last week's Star still on display, oh no I thought, the big one must be a late delivery... However out of place on the racks was one last copy of the Season Preview issue, which obviously I grabbed.. Haven't read it yet, but looking forward too..

Fair play to Jason Doyle though... If memory serves me correctly in Swindon's 2012 EL winning season he was riding at No 2 (partnering Hans).. Now he is in the GPs and scoring well tonight - so well done him Would have liked to see him at No 1 for Swindon this season (heh ho)..

Have to agree with that SCB - what a disappointment for the Rebels fans,, Perhaps Skidder can tell us if Darcy is/was there at Somerset tonight to give the heroic 'kiss of life' to whichever Pirate falls/fell - akin to his great gesture on Weds at Poole to young Mr Newman apparently.... Was Darcy there tonight Skidder to help the Mighty Pirates... Of course not.. BTW are you determined to continually keep blowing Darcy's trumpet ..

That was my thinking too Tsunami.. Either he will struggle in the EL this year or bail out to concentrate on the GP;s..

I once made a mistake too Norbold, it's very hard to believe I know.. However, I learnt a lesson and apologised to everyone involved, I amended my ways, buckled down and earned respect the hard way As for Darcy, I do question those who think he's reformed because he runs on to the track when a rider falls - he should be banned from the pits until the end of June anyway.. And make a public apology too..

Now now Starman, Gavan and you may be at the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to Poole speedway, but both of you are entitled to your views.. I enjoy your posts Starman and although Gavan may have a dig at Poole both he and you are entitled to say what you like (within reason)...and hopefully it will continue to be amusing banter.. One or two other Poole do come across as 'a bit precious' though.. Anyway, we all know Poole will probably win the ELPO's due to the dubious machinations of your promoter (obviously not your manager though) ! So let's all just go and enjoy the racing..

TBH, I'm surprised that Darcy thinks he's got any fans and supporters left - considering how often he has let Speedway's uber club Poole down.. Anyway, apparently Darcy and Middlo are now up to letter F and are really pushing the boundaries with regard to the forthcoming drivel statement and still hope for it to be published within the original timescales.. Gabba Gabba Hey,,

The problem currently with Lewis Bridger is Lewis Bridger himself... Mind you, any dealings with MH is surely likely to make anyone at least consider retirement... (see other threads).. I really hope Lewis gets his head together speedway wise as I believe he has the potential to still go a long way in the sport if he is applies himself and is a tad more professional in his approach.. I look forward to seeing him prove people wrong, whether that happens is unfortunately unlikely at this time..
