  1. Tim Hunt of the Reading Racers was known as Isaac....
  2. Queues at the back street bogs, are you mad ? Only a few die-hards dare enter and they have been seen weeping on the grass banks beforehand (it is a very sad sight to see).. I understand that sometimes you can spot ER checking the quality of the toilet paper (mostly Izal) and waving his arms wildly at the wildlife within..
  3. I don't have a problem with this assuming Hans is still injured of course... Tai at Wolves, Lindback at Poole and most likely Killer would be back at Swindon if we made the play offs (most unlikely).. So it's good for the Elite League, just a shame they cannot commit for longer..
  4. Have only seen it since heat 9, but been quite interesting since then.. Strange that some riders struggle after not riding in the UK, for example both Magic & Killer..
  5. Thanks mate for ruining this thread with your drivel... To everyone else, this is so much better than last night
  6. So sad to see such a dull, boring meeting, especially that we finally get a big one on these shores. Even Mr & Mrs Shouty say that there has been no racing of any quality ! Mind you, they are still talking quite loudly..
  7. I trust you're a better judge when it comes to art Steve,,
  8. Good win for Swindon last night.. Thought Cov would offer more, KK was shocking but Harris and King prevented a complete drubbing.. Justin and surprisingly Rohan did well, all we need now is a return to form for Morra. As for entertainment value, it was very poor..
  9. Doesn't follow at all as you well know ! Methinks you protest too much, clearly you have seen the latest EL table.. It looks like a big panic in detroit dorset
  10. Thoroughly enjoyable meeting last night, the best I've seen in the EL for some while... And well done the Hammers...
  11. Three heats gone and you could well be right ! Mr Shovlar will still be on here telling all and sundry how brilliant the meeting was though..
  12. You won, be happy and just enjoy the moment.. Why not have a beer, sh*g the wife or even plant a flower or even a tree And now, just take a few deep breaths...
  13. Perhaps our track needs to get as bad as yours, where riders bounce all over the place hoping to just stay on to provide that spectacle..
  14. Really... Compare the heatleaders... Poole Noddy, Buzz and Hans whilst Swindon have Jason, Rohan and Justin... Swindon have been 'punching above their weight' for a while now and did well to run the Pirates so close...
  15. Not exactly, no... At the start of the season Nick was our 2nd heat leader whilst Buzz was a second string - a big difference !
  16. Such a worn out record, every away meeting you predict defeat for the almighty Pirates.. Surely super Poole can compensate for Buzz who was a second string at the start of the season, especially as both Bjarne and Hans are 'track specialists' at Blunsdon.. So, cheer up and approach the meeting with positivity and a smile..as after all we have poor Rohan struggling big time.. Swindon 42-48 Poole
  17. Well done the Rockinest Robins Fortunately for Swindon 2 or 3 of the Aces perhaps underperformed.. I was being to worry about young Morris, but he certainly turned things around towards the end last night TBH, I'm quite surprised how well the Robins have done latterly, hopefully we'll keep this going !
  18. For touching the tapes, think the only option should be off 15 metres, it wastes too much time... Anyway, quite enjoying this tonight, thought Freddie has been a tad naughty though
  19. Bugger !! That was a walk for nought ! Was sure I saw it on Sky's Speedway Schedule..
  20. No, not at all, a most reasoned response.. However, I don't think any other team could remain remotely competitive if their heatleader(s) were equally struggling !
  21. Fair point.. However in years gone by teams were allowed to strengthen at reserve, unfortunately that is not the case these days..
  22. Another hapless prediction.. And sadly another meeting determined by the scores of the reserves.. Poole 17+4 - Wolves 4 BTW..went up the Steam tonight to watch this meeting, but sadly no one was interested..
  23. A bit of a hiccup for the Pirates last night,, According to some Poole fans (well at least one) they have gone from EL favourites to mere also-rans.. With four heatleaders and the best pair of reserves in the EL, Poole remain massive favourites ! Don't let any numpty tell you otherwise..
