  1. Let's not forget that Gater1 doesn't know where s/he stands at Wimborne Road either.. What a sad case !
  2. Poole didn't even make the Play Off final, so last season was obviously a desperately sad failure for Poole and their fans ! Perhaps Matt Ford isn't the genius that Starman would have us all believe...
  3. Think we should give this young Swindon team a chance, it's a whole new 'ball game' next season ! None of the teams announced so far, look that strong, well, apart from Poole of course, but then they failed big-big-big-big-time last season.. Am looking forward to the new season as there will be surprises along the way,, but at the end of the day I just hope to see some good racing
  4. Can anyone tell me what happens if Doyle gets injured and we can now only rebuild to 42 points.. Thanks in advance..
  5. I thought the 'glory hunter' Gater1 would be supporting Wolves this year...
  6. Not quite.. I read this thread to find out exactly what Darcy said and the reasons why.. I'm not bothered whether he ever goes back to Poole or not Not bothered Skidder
  7. Really pleased that Jason has definitely been confirmed as Swindon's No 1 for 2017.. Contrary to the usual suspects from Poole, speedway is not about winning at all costs, it's about entertainment and there's no doubt that Doyley will provide that And score a ton of points too...
  8. What irony, a lot of Brexit voters admitted they voted for Brexit as a protest vote because they and everyone else didn't expect the UK to leave and they wouldn't have done so otherwise.. Others voted for Brexit as a protest against the establishment and austerity,, However, at the same time the Tories do not want to have Parliament involved in the form Brexit should take - disgraceful and undemocratic As for new UK laws, whilst rents have recently rocketed let's just watch the EU rights for employees to disappear.. TBH, your post says very little constructively either way..
  9. Companies are and will be leaving the UK, that much is known, remember that article 50 is still a long way off.. Good news that Nissan is remaining for the foreseeable future, but at what cost and as for the quitters claiming it as some sort of victory for Brexit is mostly very laughable.. "British based company to stay in the UK for now" Hurrah, all is obviously hunky dory..
  10. I doubt all matters, purely those that affect him and his personal business interests.. The whole exit thing is a mess with no mandate for either a hard or soft exit. BTW, those saying that remainers should just shut up are forgetting that everyone continues to have a right to express an opinion. As Ian Hislop has said, those that lose a general election are not expected to be silent for the following five year term..
  11. True Orlovski, but there will be very few financial winners as a result of Brexit..
  12. The weak pound also makes it much cheaper for those on foreign shores to buy up any remaining UK companies. Quite ironic really..
  13. Way to far a long a gap between heat 14 and 15.. Sort it out..
  14. Shocking start by the Aces... Anyway, where are the Poole Pirates, I thought it was compulsory that they are in the PO final every year..
  15. Congratulations Wolves, well deserved... Shame to see immediately after heat 15 Pearson go on and on about how great Poole are/were.. Looking forward to a great final..
  16. Congratulations Belle Vue.. It's good to see you back where you belong.. Hope you win it
  17. Brilliant ride from Newman (that put's one argument to bed).. Great ride from Ellis too,, Still all to play for..
  18. I thought they were yellow spandex... And don't forget Troll1 supported Swindon not so long ago and has never been to either track.. Thoroughly enjoyable meeting though.. Apparently some Poole fans are going to Rome after heat 9... Dear oh dear..
  19. Somerset Rebels get a mention in today's Guardian.. Second story down https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/sep/24/love-affair-became-obsession-megafans-of-small-teams
  20. Hoping for a thoroughly entertaining meeting with no injuries and a healthy Wolverhampton victory
