  1. I still miss those cheese and onion rolls from the back straight ! Bob Radford, Sweet Home Alabama, Brian Leonard's white leathers, kids race jackets, Don't Fear The Reaper, back straight bogs, getting hit by shale on bends 1 and 2, parking in the overspill car parks, beers in the Ghost Train after meetings...
  2. We all know the young Poles are doing extremely well and good luck to them However you yourself appear to be a bit on the slow side and obviously have a complete 'lack of class' Nevermind...
  3. I didn't realise that Emil was such a 'nutter' until I saw the last lap or so of his semi-final.. Unlucky Jason tonight ! The Poles own World Speedway at the moment..
  4. Not if he maintains his usual pitiful standard at Blunsdon..
  5. A mad decision.. There was always that risk - I'm happy with that
  6. Swindon will get a good 'tonking' on Monday ! No disgrace there though, Wolves currently the best team by a country mile..
  7. If you see an eejit in purple chinos run away very quickly..
  8. Cracking meeting so far, puts Slovenia to shame !
  9. Very sad news, Bob was a highly entertaining announcer during my formative speedway years at Swindon. I met him just the once and he was most welcoming and good fun. RIP Bob
  10. Nick Morris is currently a huge improvement on KK and this change alone should see the Pirates stroll to maximum points. Poole still a long way behind Wolves though..
  11. Cracking result for the Robins... A bit close in the end mind !
  12. Rather sadly, I can only see a win for the Pirates.. Most hopefully KK will have another off night and the Rockinest ones can nick a point
  13. A big well done to Swindon tonight ! I don't think anyone expected that result. There's hope for those Rockinest Robins yet
  14. BWD scored 12 from 6 for PBoro in their 46-44 win at Scunny earlier tonight.. With apologies to Mr Orlov..
  15. Well done to Nick Morris last night, not just for his points score, but the team riding too.. A point away from home is not a bad start, although I was hoping for better. I still think it will be a hard season for the Robins unless changes are made.. Congratulations to Leicester though, I hope they have a much better season that last year
  16. That doesn't say much for the rest of your team does it, but Poole always find a way don't they, (whether in the spirit of the rules or not).. Get well soon Kyle
  17. The meetings I've watched on Sky from Wimborne Road over the last couple of years have been exactly like that The only exception I can remember is when Edward Kennett made a good start once. This is just Sky meetings though, so most weeks obviously
  18. What desperate news.. I shall miss my annual trip(s) to Brandon ! All the best Bees fans
  19. That's a tad naughty Steve.. No one wants to see anyone injured - full stop..
  20. From a purely logistical viewpoint.. Bristol Oxford Reading London and hopefully Swindon 2018 and beyond
  21. A bright start by Adam Ellis... http://www.wiltsglosstandard.co.uk/sport/15103452.SPEEDWAY__Bright_start_by_Robins_rider_Adam_Ellis_in_new_French_league/
